We have assembled an exciting set of horses for our 9th Annual Spring Horse Sale and there is definitely something for everyone. Come early, visit with our consignors and take a test ride. Payment terms are Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, or Cheque with proper identification and a letter of reference from your bank. If paying by Credit Card (MC or Visa) there will be a 3% administration fee added to the total price. If paying by Debit Card make sure your purchase limit is high enough per day to cover your purchases. GST will apply to all horses. All announcements from the auction block take precedence over information in this catalogue please give them your careful attention! The auctioneer will settle any bidding disputes such as two people claim the same bid, etc., and his decision will be final. Unless otherwise noted, registered horses sell with the registration papers and signed transfer the cost of transferring registration papers is up to the buyer. Buyer s paying by cheque will have the papers mailed after 2 weeks when their cheque has cleared the bank. Horses in the sale are covered by Hartford Insurance at Valuable Rates until they are loaded out (max $5000) buyer is responsible after that. Riding horses will be sold with a soundness guarantee unless the seller represents the horse as not 100% sound or having some varying condition of soundness at sale time. Buyers claiming non-soundness must have a vet certificate stating the non-soundness by Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 5:00 PM - there will be no further soundness guarantee beyond that time. In the case of a substantiated non-soundness claim, the buyer must return the horse to Johnstone Auction Mart and the seller must pick up the horse. The buyer will receive a full refund and the seller will not be paid for the horse. Title of horses & risk of loss passes to the buyer when the animal is declared sold by the auctioneer. Only horses consigned to the auction are allowed on the auction premises any horses sold before the sale, through the ring, or after the sale are subject to full commission charges. All persons attending the auction do so at their own risk. Any livestock can be unpredictable and in some cases dangerous. He hasn't had any roping done of him, but doesn't shy away from it. He goes back to Peppy San Badger so the breeding is there. Take this gentle guy home and put miles on him. Tip was started as a 3yr old, but then had a year off. Dwight Dokken put 60 days on him as a 5yr old. He's been used very little since then, but was ridden indoors this winter and out with the cows this spring. He leads, loads and stands for the farrier. He hasn't had any roping done off him, but I'm sure if that's the way you want to take him, he'll do a great job. A big strong gelding. I know you'll like him.
