2 NOTICE From January 2018 a Buyers Number system will be in operation for the purchase of HORSES and SADDLERY. Please allow enough time to register at the office on the morning of sale. The number will be valid for the whole of 2018 so please remember to bring it with you!!!!!

3 As from the 27 th March 2014 Sale, entries for the catalogue will CLOSE A WEEK PRIOR TO THE SALE (i.e. on the previous Thursday before 5pm). Entries after this date will be accepted but will not be included in the catalogue. From January 2018 the Entry Fees will be as follows : Ring 1-10 Ring 2-5

4 HORSE SALE Thursday 22 nd February, 2018 ALL HORSES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A VALID PASSPORT N.F.S: Not For Slaughter RING 1 A May 1. Black/white Gelding, 7y/o, 14hh approx. Broken to ride, was put to drive last year nut been off all winter. M Rose 2. Black cob Mare, 15.2hh, 14y/o. Ride and drive, ridden by 64y/o lady. Hunted, dressaged in the past. Last few years been used as a happy hack by an elderly lady. No vices, good in all ways. 3. Blue/white cob Mare, 13.2hh, 6y/o. Very well shown in hand and under saddle. Ridden by 10y/o in the show ring, snaffle mouth at all times. Done dressage and show jumping. Good as gold in all ways. Registered with TGCA. A Crowley 4. Black Mare, 12y/o. Been used as a brood mare. Very heavy mare, very quiet. 5. Black/white Mare, 14hh, 6y/o. Very quiet, heavy type. C Giles 6. N.F.S WPBR Chester year old Gelding, well handled, wormed regularly, he will make super show pony, well put together. Sire is American Paint (15.3), dam Section B. Should make 14.2 maybe bigger. L Jackson 7. Poppy. Skewbald Mare, 14.1hh, 10y/o. Very experienced SJ/XC/Hunting Pony. Many wins and placings. Jumps 1 metre. Jumps everything out hunting. Excellent hack alone or in company. 100% in heavy traffic. Good to shoe, load, clip, wash. Never bucks, rears or naps. Good to handle on the ground. Likes a handful of food to be caught with. Super temperament. Tough and sound. No vices. Rider sadly outgrown. D Oakes 8. Chestnut cob Gelding, 15hh, 12y/o. Has hunted, good with farrier, clipping and stable. A Crowley 9. Red/roan blagdon Filly, 3y/o, 14hh. Very quiet, heavy type. M Rose hh Sports horse Mare, 9y/o. Whipped in 3 seasons, very brave and bold. Very well schooled on the flat and jumps for fun. Good as gold in all ways. Will make someone a fantastic event horse. No vices.

5 I Haining 11. Cobby. Piebald cob Mare, 14hh -14.1hh, 9y/o. Hacks alone or in company, forward going mare who loves her job. Snaffle mouthed. Good in all sorts of traffic. Has hunted, been used on a working farm. Goes through water, lives in or out, no stable vices, loads and travels well. Turns out with mares & geldings, great to box, shoe, clip, wash, moves straight. No sweet itch or sarcoids. 12. Black cob Gelding, 14.2hh, 7y/o. Been ridden by a competent lady alone or in company. Good with traffic, stables and turns out alone or in mixed herd. Can be moody around hard feed but I just leave him to eat in peace. Does need some patience picking up his feet. Loads and travels well. Currently in his winter woollies as not been in regular work due to lack of time and weather. T Williams 14. Riley. Roan Gelding, 14.3hh approx, Lives out, good to catch and with the farrier. J Sherrard 15. Llanarth Lisi. Sire- Llanarth Fiery Jack out of Dam- Llanarth Laura. Bay Mare, 15.1hh, 8y/o. Lisi is a super hunting/all rounder horse, has hunted all season with a fifteen year old girl with the David Davies Hunt - she jumps anything, loves hounds, great with other horses and will lead the huntsman's horse all day. Good to load, shoe, catch, clip and just to do in general. Hacks out alone or in company, never spooky or silly. Has already bred one cracking foal. Loves attention and is very sweet, she's an ideal all rounder/cross country/hunter, she's been a pleasure to have on the yard over the season. J Janes 16. Showmans Monocle Sire- Traveling Showman (CHAPS) Dam- Balgoed Mollie (WPBR). Skewbald Registered Welsh pb Mare, rising 7y/o, 14hh approx. Show quality mare with smart markings. Last summer attended PC camps and local shows and jumping clear rounds. Good doer, lives in or out. Potential good all round pony. R Robinson 17. Llangallar Heasel BRBSB registered. Dapple grey Connemara x Gelding, 9y/o, 13.2hh. Broken to ride and previously very successfully shown. Nice forward ride and would suit a confident rider who wants to have fun. Loves schooling, especially pole work. Really easy going pony to have around. Good to load, clip, bath, catch and farrier.

Tia. Liver chestnut Mare, 12.2hh, 11/o. A quality riding pony, been ridden on and off lead rein, though is more of a second pony off the lead rein for a small child. Easy to handle, box etc. P Gilbert 306. Grey Gelding, 13y/o. Only used as a companion at present home. No longer needed. Has one eye. A Jones 307. Skewbald Shetland Colt, 2y/o. T Davies 308. Black/white Stallion, 12.3hh, rising 3y/o. D Oakes 309. Bonney. Bay Mare, 11y/o, 12hh. Good pony on lead rein, lives out. Tough little pony. L Evans 310/12. 3 Ponies. Hope Obert Sire- Heniarth Beaudacious Dam- Hope Kloe by Hope Elroy. Grey Sec A Colt. Very nice colt, ready to show. He would make a nice stallion or gelding, ready to go. R Robinson 328. Chico. Skewbald Mare, 5y/o, 13hh. Beautiful mare, will do well in the show ring. Broken in the summer and recently brought back into work with no bother. Has been used for hacking and done some basic schooling in an indoor arena. Ready to bring on, good in traffic. Lovely temperament and once you have a bond will do anything for you.
