6 PRIVATE CORPORATE EVENTS Pole Position Raceway has become the county s favorite place to hold corporate team building exercises, employee rewards programs and holiday parties. We have hosted hundreds of events for companies of all sizes, and each adrenaline-filled event is customized to fit the specific needs of your organization. After providing our Event Coordinators with the number of racers, the type of races you would like, your date and budget, Pole Position Raceway will be able to create an experience geared to your group s satisfaction. Companies have their choice of selecting one of our group races (Pole Position Challenge, Grand Prix or Super Pole as seen on the previous page) or renting the facility by the hour.when renting the track by the hour,pole Position Raceway can customize race formats that are not offered to the general public such as the following: (24-48 racers) (8-48 racers) (20-48 racers) Depending on the size of your group, we can divide the racers into various teams which can be designated by different color Pole Position Raceway t-shirts. You can choose between standard 15-lap races that are run againsttheclock,orwecancombine timed racing with real head-to-head race action.awards can be given to the team with the most points, fastest track time, or fastest combined score. Your Event Coordinator can assist you with other fun awards such as best helmet hair, least likely to make NASCAR, etc. Each driver gets a 15-lap timed qualifier before they are placed into brackets based on speed. The next step can be done through head-tohead racing or simply racing against the clock, but only the fastest drivers advance to the next round. It's up to you as to how many drivers transfer, and the elimination format doesn't stop until a champion has been decided. Call it LeMan's-style racing, relay racing or endurance racing, but this format emphasizes the true team spirit. Drivers are broken into 4-8 teams in races that are run non-stop foruptothreehours.oncethegreen flag drops in this head-to-head race, eachteamhasonedriveronthetrack at all times.the goal is to complete the most laps in the least amount of time to support the team's overall position. The true team building spirit actually develops as drivers learn whattheyaredoingrightandwrong.

8 OPTIONAL TEAM BUILDING EXERCISES Makita Pit Crew Challenge We ve all seen those perfectly choreographed pit stops in NASCAR that take less than 12 seconds to change tires, add fuel, clean the windshield and make chassis adjustments.well,now is your chance to test your skills on one of the elements in Pole Position Raceway s Makita Pit Crew Challenge. The object is to change all four tires on our high-performance Monster Kart in the least amount of time possible. This is designed for 1-5 teammates, and like in business, the strategy depends on how many people are involved. The Makita Pit Crew Challenge requires a $100 setup fee and 24 hours advanced notice. Blindfold Challenge We place two drivers on the course at a time and they have to complete one lap around the course while blindfolded. The drivers communicate with their teammates via walkie-talkie in an effort to complete the fastest elapsed time.
