1 INFORMATION BULLETIN No. 2 The information of Bulletin No 2 is complementary to Bulletin No 1. The two Bulletins together serve as complete guidance. The Organizing Committee of SZEGED the 11th IDBF Club Crew World Championships, in conjunction with the Hungarian Dragon Boat Federation (HDBF) and the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF), cordially invite Club Crews from around the world to participate in the Club World Championships, which will be held at the on Maty Regatta Course and on the river Tisza in Szeged between 17 th and 22 nd July 2018 in Hungary. The opening ceremony will take place on the 16 th July. 1 REGISTRATION Thanks for the high number of provisional entries for this Championships. Please note that the 20 th April 2018 is the deadline for confirmed entry to be made on the IDBF online registration interface. ( Instructions for using the online registration are contained in Bulletin 1. 2 IDBF MEMBERSHIP FEE It is a prerequisite of entry to the Championship that every country sanctioning teams to take part in the CCWC must ensure that their IDBF membership fees including the supplementary fee agreed in the last Congress are fully paid up to date. 3 DIVISIONS, RACING & RACING- AGE CLASSES The IDBF opened the possibility for U24 crews to compete in standard boat on the World Championships. DRAGON BOATS IDBF Specification dragon boats (IDBF 1222 & IDBF 912) will be provided for the Championships. The type will be named in Bulletin 3. 3 REGATTA FEES An IDBF fee and a Championships Admin Fee is to be paid by every athlete, coach and team official attending the Szeged 2018 CCWC. An IDBF Fee of USD 40 per person is to be paid by all adults and USD 20 per person is to be paid by Junior, U24 and University participants. For this CCWC an Administration Fee of EUR 65 per person for adults and EUR 35 per person for Juniors, U24 and University will be charged by the Organizing Committee. The Administration Fee of Supporters will be EUR 20 per person while children under 16 years will be free. The competition area can only be accessed with a valid accreditation card. The Administration fee includes participation on the Opening ceremony and the Closing Party too. Please note that late payment of the Entry fee will require a surcharge of EUR 250 per Club, so please ensure you meet the given deadlines. Accomodating the clubs with late submission of Final Named Entries into the race program cannot be guaranteed. In case it is still possible to solve, Late Named Entries will require a late entry fee of EUR 50 per club, payable to IDBF to cover the admin costs of making late changes to the racing program. LUNCH ON THE RACING DAYS There will be two different price level offers for lunch provided at the regatta site. Sandwich menu: 2 sandwiches, 1 chocolate bar 1 fruit and 1 bottle of mineral water. In advance (discounted): EUR 9 per person / occasion, upon arrival at the registration (normal): EUR 14 per person / occasion course menu: soup, main course, dessert, fruit and a bottle of mineral water. In advance (discounted): EUR 15 per person / occasion, upon arrival at the registration (normal): EUR 20 per person / occasion. Gluten, lactose free and vegetarian food can only be provided with the course menu. Pre-ordering with discounted rate will be possible until the 30 th June, payment of the pre-ordered lunches must be completed by the same date. After the 30 th June lunches can be ordered and paid only at the normal price, but we can accept lunch orders latest till the 16 th July, 2018 until 12 o'clock, after this no further orders or modification of the lunch orders can be made (at all). ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TRANSFER The travel organizer partner of the Organizing committee (Holiday 55 Hungary) offers airport transfer from Budapest Airport or Budapest city center (train station, hotel) on request. Transfer rates depend on the location of the accommodation and the size of the group. You can apply for an individual quotation at the address of szeged2018@holiday55.hu.

4 LOCAL TRANSPORTATION On race days, between the Szeged Bus Station and the Olympic Center (when the competitions take place there) will operate a direct bus transfer with a planned schedule (one round per hour), which can be used free of charge by athletes and supporters with accreditation cards. The transfer is direct, there is no intermediate stop on the route. In addition, on race days there will be a shuttle (collecting transfer) service between the official accommodations and the venue. Accommodations within Szeged city will be served by a shuttle service on 2 or 3 routes, following a predetermined schedule and route, collecting the athletes. In the case of accommodations outside of Szeged, a direction/destination transfer will be in service, two rounds in the morning from the accommodations to the race course and two rounds in the afternoon back from the venue. 4 The fee for the service is included in the price of the accommodations-package booked via the Organizing Committee. For others, the use of the shuttle services within Szeged will be available only by purchasing a 6-day transfer pass. The shuttle pass is EUR 40 per person and must be ordered in advance at szeged2018@holiday55.hu until the 30 th June For training days, the Organizing Committee s travel organizer partner (Holiday 55 Hungary) can provide a group shuttle bus service from the accommodation to the race course and back, only upon request. You can request a training transfer quotation at szeged2018@holiday55.hu. REQUIREMENT DEADLINE DATE Confirmed (Numerative) Entries 20 th April 2018 Final Named Entries with IDBF fee + the Administration fee less the Admin fee deposit paid. Remaining balance of accommodation, transportation, meals and any additional services booked through the Organizing Committee. Deadline for orders and payments of the 6-day race course menu and the shuttle pass. 31 st May th June 2018 PAYMENTS IDBF fee International Dragon Boat Federation IDBF Bank details will be provided in the upcoming Bulletin No3. Administration fee of the Organizing Committee of Szeged 2018 CCWC (Adult fee EUR 65 per person, junior fee: EUR 35 per person, supporter fee EUR 20 per person). 5 Bank charges When paying the IDBF registration fee, the CCWC administration fee or paying the accommodation-transfer-meal and other services by wire transfer, please make sure you mark the Ordering customer (OUR) check box when you fill in the International charges. INSURANCE The organizer of the CCWC will have liability insurance for the event. However, we raise your attention to make sure that everyone has his/her own personal insurance with sport activity supplement! 5 USE OF THE LOGO OF CCWC2018 Both official logos of the 11th IDBF Dragon Boat Club Crew World Championships (Szeged 2018) are protected by international copyright. Use of these logos are only possible with the written consent of the Hungarian Dragon Boat Association as the copyright holder. Copy and use of the logos without permission will result in legal consequences. TRAININGS Training opportunity will be provided in Szeged Olympic Center in the period between the July. Because of the large number of participants, training times are limited. Each team can reserve up to 2 training sessions (60 minutes per occasion) per entry class. The two training sessions cannot be on the same day! The registration for trainings (only online is possible) will open on the 16 th June The technical details of the training sessions will be published later. CREW / CLUB HISTORY We prepare a publication for the Championships and we would like to ask all clubs to send us the club s logo, few photos and a short description. In one of the coming Newsletters we will give you further details and the deadline.
