3 SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS 43 rd South Swedish Rally 2018 The 43 rd South Swedish Rally counts for; The Swedish Rally Championship (SM), Swedish Junior Rally Championship (JSM) and Syd Svenska Mästerskapet (SSM) The South Swedish Rally will be run in compliance with the SBF (the Swedish ASN) national sporting regulations and SBF national rally championship regulations for 2018, these Supplementary regulations and coming bulletins. The competitors take part on their own risk. The FIA, the Swedish ASN, the organiser or officials of the event cannot be claimed as responsible for injuries on persons and/or property which occurs during the competition. By entering the South Swedish Rally, the driver, the co-driver, the entrant and the team s service crew, give the organiser the right to register and publish the name of the driver, Co-driver, entrant and service crew regardless the way of media. 1. 5 9. Description of the rally The 43 rd South Swedish Rally; which consists of 12 stages on gravel. The total lengths of the stages are app. 125 km and the total length of the rally is app. 461 km. There will be one Service Parc in Älmhult for the entire rally. 10. Competitors and elimination Competitors with a valid license (EU-license) may take part in the South Swedish Rally. The organisers have taken their right to limit the number of competitors by elimination; due to the fact that number of competitors in 43 rd South Swedish Rally may not exceed 100. The elimination will be done in the following way: 1. 7 13. Classes, starting order and seeding Classes and seeding according to the regulations of SM and JSM 14. Advertising The organiser claims their right to put advertising on the cars, according to the regulations of the Swedish ASN. The organiser and the Swedish ASN claims there right to apply advertising on the front window, the total width of the window and with a height of 12 cm, according to RY 8.6T. This advertising is a sticker from TOOLS, and this is the only one allowed at the front window! This sticker has to be placed at the top of the front window and cover from side to side. Not having the organisers advertising is possible by paying an extra fee, see 17 below. 15. Team Competition Not applicable. 16. Service, tires, environmental and refuelling Tyres allowed are according to the present regulations. There will be one central Service Parc in Älmhult. The environmental rules of the Swedish ASN have to be followed (a transcription of the Swedish text is available by request). Breaking the environmental rules RY0.2T leads to a 5 min. time penalty, on the final time, the first time and disqualification the second time. The organisers will carefully supervise this. Only one service car per team is allowed at the Service Parc. Each team will be allocated a Service Parc of 7,5 x 5,5 m. Extended service area may be ordered by using the form App. 1 page 24, to cost of 50 SEK/square meter. Please not that there are NO electrical supply at the Service Parc. A technical zone hot works will be found near by the Service Parc. The Service Parc is a complete non fire zone, and this includes also the use of a barbecue and smoking. Any questions regarding the Service Parc, please call the Service Parc manager. 17. Entry regulations (only non-swedish drivers) The entry fee and the entry form, must reach the organiser latest at 18.00H on Sunday 24 th April 2018, to be accepted as a valid entry. Entry fee including the organisers advertising (including 6 % VAT, VAT # SE ): Normal entry fee 600:- Late entry fee 800:- Late entry may be done until Sunday 6 th May at 18.00H. 8 Entry fee without the organisers advertising (including 6 % VAT, VAT # SE ): Normal entry fee 1 200:- Late entry fee 1 600:- Pace note and reconnaissance fee: 60:- The entry fee and any possible pace note and reconnaissance fee, must be paid, before 18.00H on the 24 th April 2018, to the following: Bank account = IBAN = SE , Swift address = ESSESESS Accountholder = Föreningen South Swedish Rally Please state SSR, the name of the driver and the car group on the payment The entry fee includes the following: - One set of road book - One official program with a map - ID-card for driver and Co-driver - One set of starting number and rally plates - One set of small numbers to be use on the recci car - The organisers advertising, if not the higher entry fee is paid - Results, to be collected on - One Service Pac including; one service sign, one official program with a map and four ID-cards for the service crew - A service area of 7,5 x 5,5 m 18. Entry You have to do your entry at Do not forget to enter your need of pace notes. A late entry may be done to a cost of 200:- extra not later than 6 th May 18.00H. The organisers cannot guarantee that your entry will be published in the official program. As long as the entry is open, each entrant may freely withdraw the entry. After the closing time of the entry, send your confirmation of your withdrawal by mail to lars.gren@resultatservice.com Entrants who not have paid their entry fee and possible pace note and reconnaissance fee at 18:00H Sunday 24 th April 2018 will be regarded as a late entrant and have to pay the late entry fee see point 17 Entry regulations. 19. Cancelling The organiser have the right, in co-operation with the Swedish ASN and the Stewards, to cancel the rally if less the 50 entries have been received before the closing date, do to prohibition from the authorities, unfavourable weather conditions or other cases of force majeure. 9 20. Prizes According to the present SM, JSM regulations 21. Repayment The entry fee will be repaid in the following cases: 1) If the rally does not take place 2) Entries that not are accepted by the organiser 3) If the entry is withdrawn before 24 th April 2018 at 18.00H, the entire entry fee. 4) Competitors, who withdraw their entry after 18.00H 24 th April 2018 and before 6 th May 2018 at 18.00H repayment of 50% of the entry fee. 5) Competitor, who withdraw their entry after 18.00H 6 th May 2018 no repayment 6) If the rally is cancelled due to force majeure repayment of 50% of the paid entry fee 7) No repayment of pace notes fee if the withdrawn is made after 18.00H 24 th April Further information Clerk of the Course, Patrik Persson patrik.rally@hotmail.com Secretary of the meeting, Anders Anderholm info@southswedishrally.com Dep. 10 Reconnaissance 1. Schedule 1.1 Thursday 10 May SS 1 and 2, this stages is also open on Friday morning according to the schedule 1.2 Friday 11 th May according to a schedule Stages that are driven twice during the competition may only be reconnaissance twice! 2. Restrictions Between on Monday 5 th February and on Saturday 12 th May, it is strictly forbidden to drive regardless way of driving, stay and/or walk over the special stages of the South Swedish Rally, except when the special stages are open for reconnaissance and the team have to be allowed to do the reconnaissance, or open as special stages. Any offence against these regulations will lead to non-admission to the start and the entry fee will not be refunded. The organisers will carefully supervise this. GPS tracing system Tracing of each team will be applicable including speed control at recci according to the Championship regulations Rally SM 2018.Which means the we will use Racetimings GPS/tracing equipment. Your rally car has to have a cabling with the correct connections; which you have to install in the rally car before you arrive at the reporting. The cabling will be checked at scrutineering and random inspection will be carried out during the competition. If disruption in you intercom system appears, it is the up to the competitor upgrade to a newer type free from interference. The cabling have to be secured by a 5A fuse at the plus side and plus have to be connected to 1, minus connected to 2 and ignition to 3. The length of the cabling must so long that the connectors may be placed on or close to the rear strut tower or corresponding.
