1 LUSAKA MOTOR SPORTS CLUB LUSAKA SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS FOR THE st NATIONAL RALLY TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ZMSA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS, FIA REGIONAL RALLY REGULATIONS FOR RALLIES. 1. PROMOTERS / ORGANISERS LUSAKA MOTOR SPORTS CLUB 2. NAME OF EVENT THE MADMAX NATIONAL RALLY 3. GRADE NATIONAL 4. Qualifying stage will be run on tarmac. QUALIFYING STAGE Place: Freedom Way At MadMax Auto Spares Time: 16:00HRS Distance: 1.00 km Use of tarmac or slick tires is strictly prohibited. 7. JURISDICTION Held under the ZMSA 2018 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS and under the FIA Regional Rally Regulations and these Supplementary Regulations. 8. PROGRAMME: A. Reconnaissance: Place: Airport Turnoff at the Independence Arch. Time: The reconnaissance will be in convoy format and depart at 7:00hrs prompt from the Airport turnoff.

3 K. Second Stewards Meeting Time: 15.30Hrs L. Prize Giving: Time: 16.00Hrs ELIGIBILITY OF VEHICLES As per the National Regulations of the ZMSA 9. CLASSES As per the National Regulations of the ZMSA 10. ELIGIBILITY OF COMPETITORS As per Article 9 of the Sporting Code and the National Championship of the ZMSA 11. ENTRIES A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 40 entries will be accepted. Open Immediate Close Wednesday 28 th February 2018 at 18.00Hrs No entries will be accepted unless the entry form is FULLY completed and accompanied by the correct entry fee of K1, ed and faxed entries will be accepted with the originals being presented at documentation. All information pertaining to the qualifying stage. 12. LATE ENTRIES N/A. 13. POINTS SCORING Points as per the ZMSA National Championship Regulations. 14. PRIZES T.B.A 15. PROTESTS AND APPEALS Refer Article 55.2 of the 2018 FIA Regional Rally Regulations. Protests involving dismantling of a vehicle K10, PENALTIES Refer to The FIA Regional Rally Regulations and the ZMSA National Championship Regulations.

All competitors must have suitable 3 rd Party Insurance Cover in terms of the Zambia Road Traffic Act. 19. ADVERTISING Advertising on the top half and front half of the front doors is not optional at all. 20. OTHER OBLIGATIONS A. Control of Drivers Helmets, Fire Suits and Equipment. Means of Control: Will be checked at Scrutineering for compliance with FIA Standards. Note: Balaclavas and fire retardant underwear, including socks and approved racing shoes and gloves, will be compulsory. B. Seeding Plates Numbers Seeding Competitors will be seeded by the official seeding as supplied by the Rally Committee. Un-seeded drivers will be seeded by the Clerk of the Course. The Stewards may alter the seeding if they consider this to be necessary in terms of safety and upon recommendation by the Clerk of the Course. Rally Numbers will be supplied by the ZMSA for the season. The sequence will be as per the results of the previous season. Any newcomer will be allocated a number by the ZMSA. If the number is lost during the event or for any other reason, the competitor will be obliged to pay for the replacement. C. The use of the Hans device is mandatory. 21. RUNNING OF THE RALLY A. In the event of a force majeure before or during the event the Organisers reserve the right to cancel the event. If stages of the event have already been completed the Organisers, in consultation with the Stewards, may score the event on stages completed up until cancellation. B. Observers, videos and unrealistic stage time or any other means employed by the Clerk of the Course will be used to determine the extent of the advantage gained.
