2 ABOUT Welcome to paradise to 4 th Edition of the event Mountain Bike Madeira Enduro Meeting. Located on the north coast, Porto Moniz, the longest parish of the area extending from Atlantic Ocean to Paul da Serra. After the huge success of latest editions this year we propose again a week of pure adventure, with challenging trails for riding. The event is focused on lifestyle riding and get to know more about Madeira Island. We give you the opportunity to know more about this pearl and discover new experiences with locals, learn about their traditions, tasting the good food and wine. Most of Madeira trails were build by Shepard s to cross the mountains, enabling them the trading between north and the south coast of the Island. Now, mountain bike give born to a new live, with different terrain, technical trails and impressing surroundings. Laurissilva natural forest (UNESCO Heritage) makes you think of how great and generous nature can be. In the end of the week the riders have the opportunity to participate on the 4 th round of Madeira Enduro Series. A total of 30km of race, including stages and connections. You will not feel indifferent! Come and take part of this unique event!

4 TRAINING The trainings are schedule for Saturday, at the times stipulated by the organization. You can stop and examine/repeat technical sections, without hindering the training of other athletes. RACE The event is held in the Municipality of Porto Moniz over the weekend. The official training takes place on Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00. On that same day, the Prologue Enduro Village Seixal will be held, with the first athlete coming in at 18:00. On Sunday the athletes are transported from Cais do Seixal to the place of departure at 9:00. The first athlete in the race starts in connection with 10:30. START The start order is by categories. E-Bikes; Open; Masters 50; Masters 40; Masters 30; Cadets; Juniors; Elites The categories will be given minute intervals to be defined by the organization. The ordering list is the responsibility of the organization and takes into account the diverse rankings and achievements of the athletes present. In case athletes express interest in changing this order, they can do so, provided they inform the organization and always to lower places of the established ranking. This decision is made at the start of the race. DELAYS In the case of arriving late (penalize the call), they should notify the controller immediately and wait for the exit order. Penalties are defined in the particular rules of the event. In case the connection time is exceeded for reasons unrelated to the athlete, the penalty does not apply. CONNECTIONS Connection times are counted from the end of a PEC to the beginning of the next. There is no type of scheduled neutralization, athletes must manage these established times. In road connections, it is mandatory to comply with the road code and the use of a helmet.
