PA. The East Course, a former host of the Nationwide Tour s REESE S Cup Classic, was in excellent conditions for the more than 100 IJGT competitors that were on hand this weekend.

Reach came away with a 4-stroke victory in the Boys 16-19 Division shooting impressive rounds of 72-71 for a two-day tournament total 143.

One stroke back of Lustig was Matthew Plummer of Mechanicsburg, PA who shot a final round 73 to solidify a third place finish.

The East Course, a former host of the Nationwide Tour s REESE S Cup Classic, was in excellent conditions for the more than 100 IJGT competitors that were on hand this weekend. Nicholas Reach of Moscow, PA, came to Hershey s East Course this weekend to have fun and play the best golf he could, and he did just that. Reach came away with a 4-stroke victory in the Boys Division shooting impressive rounds of for a two-day tournament total 143. Finishing in second place with a weekend total of 5-over par 147, was Bo Lustig of Belle Vernon, PA. One stroke back of Lustig was Matthew Plummer of Mechanicsburg, PA who shot a final round 73 to solidify a third place finish. Our winner, Reach had this to say about his final round: My driver was key, I hit a lot of fairways but I also played the par 3 s well, playing them 1-under. Jordan Sweet of Bowie, MD dominated the Boys Division. Sweet s tournament low, 4-under par 138 was outstanding and lead him to an 8-stroke victory, firing red hot consecutive rounds of 69. Andrew Gai of Westport, CT and Zachary Dilcher of Avondale, PA tied for second place honors, both posting rounds Our Winner, Sweet, said this about this weekend: I hit my driver really well which put me in great position to make birdies. I also putted really well and made a lot of putts for par when I needed to. Thadd Obecny of Wheeling, WV came away the victor in the Boys 12 & Under Division shooting rounds of This win was Obecny s second consecutive win after taking home first place honors two weeks ago at the nearby Hershey Links Course. Capturing second place was Michael Davis from Newtown Square, PA who finished with a two-day total of 153. CJ Tyler of Northumberland, PA rounded out the top 3 with a two-day total of 154. In the Girls 19 & Under Division, 36 holes were not enough to determine a winner. Kendall Allen of Pittsburgh, PA fired a low final round 71 to force a playoff with Marisa Kamelgarn of Mahopac, NY. On the first playoff hole, Kamelgarn s par was good enough for the win. Taking home second place honors was Allen while Erica Pellegrini of Chadds Ford, PA finished alone in third place with a two-day total 153. Kamelgarn, our winner, had this to say about the course: The course was in awesome shape, especially the greens and fairways and I really liked the par 5 s, they all set up really well for my game

Nearly 2000 junior golfers compete on the IJGT representing 45 states and over 30 countries.
