1 For Immediate Release Jordan Schneider, International Junior Golf Tour, International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) Presents IJGT at Seaview Marriott Resort Galloway, NJ Sunday, October 19, 2008 STITZER STELLAR AT SEAVIEW Lee Continues Winning Ways GALLOWAY, NJ This past weekend, Seaview Marriott Resort played host to the International Junior Golf Tour s (IJGT) two-day tournament event. The historic venue opened its doors to not one, but two challenging and aesthetically pleasing courses. The Pines Course challenged the Boys and Divisions accuracy off the tee, while The Bay Course provided a great links-style track for the Boys 12 & Under and Girls 19 & Under Divisions. Schuyler Stitzer of Greenwich, CT claimed his first ever IJGT victory in the Boys Division. In the Boys Division, Ben Cooley of Rydal, PA walked away the victor. Theo Humphrey of Greenwich, CT took home the title in the Boys 12 & Under Division as Harin Lee of Bayside, NY won an uncompromising Girls 19 & Under Division. Stitzer found his momentum early in the tournament as he played the first six holes at 4- under-par. After firing a 1-under-par 70, which was good enough for a four-shot lead going into the final-round, Stitzer remained patient throughout. My goal coming into this tournament was to place in the top five, Stitzer said. The strong winds throughout the weekend made the playing conditions very tough; I adjusted my play and wasn t too aggressive off the tee to avoid trouble. In the Boys Division, Cooley was not deterred by the high winds over the weekend, posting a tournament division low even-par 71. On Sunday, he posted a 3-over-par 74 to finish the tournament with a five-stroke victory. Michael DiTursi of Rye, NY finished second after carding consistent rounds of 75, for a 150 weekend total. Brian Tohir of New Canaan, CT and Andrew Gai of Westport, CT rounded out the top three both shooting 151 for the tournament. The Boys 12 & Under Division was won by red hot Theo Humphrey. He carded consistent rounds of 77 to capture the victory. The win at Seaview was Humphrey s second IJGT win in his last two appearances on Tour. Michael Davis of Newtown Square, PA took home the second place trophy with a tournament total 157. Lastly, David Hicks of Cape May Court House, NJ rounded out the top three with a tournament total 169.

2 After the opening round, the battle for the Girls 19 & Under Division was between five resilient competitors whom all carded first round scores of 78. Lee, and Louise Yi of Cinnaminson, NJ both started out the front nine with the upper hand to share the lead by one stroke going into the turn. Taking the momentum into the back nine, Lee proceeded to play even-par golf on her next seven holes and finished at 152 for the tournament. Lee s strong play proved good enough to take first place honors. Yi and Marisa Kamelgarn of Mahopac, NY both tied for second place honors, just five shots behind with a 157 total. Nearly 2000 junior golfers compete on the IJGT representing 45 states and over 30 countries.
