1 2015 International Edition - September 2015 FRANCE Further victories for the Bud Racing Kawasaki team GERMANY Main protagonist of the 250cc Motocross European Championship, Maxime Desprey with five victories already under his belt won a double podium on the circuit of Assen, Holland. With courage and resolve, Xavier Boog made a great run in the SX Tour in La Tremblade and stood on top of the podium. Together, the two riders gave a fantastic show in front of over 5,000 spectators at the Air Contest in Tyrosse. The reward was a beautiful double podium. The youngest rider of the team, David Braceras, was crowned Spanish Junior Supercross champion. A brilliant team! Read more on page % success for the Black Falcon GT team The Black Falcon GT team dominated and was the indisputable winner of the 6 Hours of Nürburgring, the highlight of the VLN Endurance Championship and the most demanding race of the season. Strategic decisions and the fighting spirit of the drivers associated with the perfect tuning of the car allowed the team to deliver this excellent performance. Hubert Haupt, Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal, Adam Christodoulou and Yelmer Buurman at the wheel of their Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 successfully avoided the traps caused by changing weather conditions, controlled their ardent opponents and passed the finishing line first after 998 km. All information on page 4. ITALY Attractive scenario for Lefterov The Euro Series by Nova Race had a new protagonist for the fourth round on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The double victory of Pavel Lefterov, the 17-year-old newcomer, upset the ranking of the 30 drivers, taking 7th place overall with only one race. More information on page 8.

2 SOUTH AFRICA FUCHS Ford Falcon V8 driven by Larry Wilford proved a tough contender at Phakisa For 19 years, the South African Wilford Racing team has been an excellent ambassador for FUCHS in the South African V8 Supercars Championship. Larry Wilford and his son Terry won stunning podiums and titles in this exciting and competitive championship. In 2015, for the first time, both drivers are racing in the Inland Racing Championship on board of the FUCHS Falcon XR 8 (Terry s car) and a Corvette (Larry). The fifth round of the series was held on the Phakisa raceway in mid-august. Competing against 22 drivers, Larry took the departure, while Terry diagnosed with a virus stayed at home. The bill-topping Big Boss Super Saloon car races were very exciting, with Larry Wilford (FUCHS Ford Falcon), Ben Morgenrood (Indyoil Ford Mustang) and Franco di Matteo (Varta Batteries Jaguar) trading blows for overall victory. After clearing the vibrations that had occurred during practice, the FUCHS driver won 6th place on the grid in the opening race. He had to challenge the best drivers of the championship: the Italian Franco di Matteo (2014 champion and current championship leader), Ben Morgenrood, Amos Cockeran, Andries Marx and Etiene Swanepoel. I knew, it was going to be tough!, said the FUCHS driver. Larry Wilford, who was highly concentrated, implemented the strategy, took every opportunity to pass his opponents in the corners and engaged in great battles with the other drivers. These breathtaking fights held the audience spellbound and maintained suspense during all the races. This motorsport event was described as one of the best races witnessed in a long time. In front of 30,000 spectators, Larry imposed himself on the 2nd and 3rd place respectively in rounds 1 and 2, and on the 3rd position overall. This season comprises nine races and we currently hold 3rd place in the championship ranking, explained Larry. As a long-time partner of FUCHS, the team uses various FUCHS products. Most frequently those mentioned below. We use them, because they are the best!, Larry affirmed with conviction. The cars are based on a 6-litre V8 engine delivering more than 600 HP and reaching a top speed of 300 kph. The next round will take place at Zwartkops on October 17. 3 GERMANY Christian Gerhards triumph The FUCHS rider once again demonstrated his excellent skills in the 2015 DAM Inter MX2 Championship. Virtually untouchable in the ten rounds of the championship and despite all attempts by his opponents, Christian Gerhards clearly posted again this season by winning victories and the 2015 title. The last round took place in Ohlenberg well known for its technically demanding circuit with its 42 turns. On a muddy track in the rainy weather with a 4th place on the starting grid, Christian Gerhards slipped and fell several times. He had to use all his talent and experience to pass his opponents and win the first race. In the second round, he secured the 1st place on the podium by leaving his adversaries far behind until he passed the checkered flag. He thus won the last two rounds of the season and the championship. A beautiful and dominating performance by Christian Gerhards who finished the year with 78 points ahead of his first opponent. GERMANY Good performances by Gürck and Wechselberger The last two rounds of the FIM Sidecar World Championship took place on the 3.667km long circuit of Oschersleben in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. After fierce battles with the leaders, the newly crowned German Sidecar champions, Uwe Gürck and Manfred Wechselberger, won 4th place in the world championship. The drivers of the Polizei Sport Verein Wels/ Gürck Racing team were happy with this position but also a bit disappointed, as it turned out that they had lost the sixth gear of their machine, which made it very hard to drive under these tricky conditions.

4 GERMANY Black Falcon GT team celebrates its first VLN 6h Nürburgring victory In the seventh VLN race the Black Falcon GT team triumphed with international drivers behind the steering wheel of car #2, a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. Hubert Haupt, Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal, Yelmer Buurman and Adam Christodoulou proudly made it despite difficult weather conditions during the qualification and the race on the world s toughest race track, the Nürburgring-Nordschleife! After a good departure from the 8th position in the qualification Christodoulou moved forward to 2nd place a few corners after the start. The lead changed several times during the race as they staged a thrilling battle with Rowe s car #7, until Rowe s car was forced to return to the pit due to a collision with another vehicle. The Black Falcon GT team managed to maintain the pole position and control the race crossing the finish line with a 1.28 minute lead over the second driver. The clean, fast stints from all the drivers and the excellent strategy must be mentioned as the key to success. It is worth mentioning that this is the first 6-hour overall victory on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife for the Black Falcon GT team and the four drivers, and Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal is the first ever driver from the Middle East to win on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The members of the team are getting ready for the final round of the Blancpain Endurance Series, the 1000km on the Nürburgring, the team s home circuit in Germany in a few days. The team will enter two Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 cars for this race including the green and black #19 GT3 Pro racer with Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal, Hubert Haupt and Yelmer Buurman who have been teammates in all five previous rounds of the season.

5 AUSTRIA FUCHS Silkolene s close partnership with Enduro-Kaolinwerk The 12th edition of the Enduro-Kaolinwerk took place at the heart of the quarries in the mining district. Intense, sporty and tough, this enduro competition is one of the most unusual and renowned events in the world of two wheels. It again kept its promises with demanding and exhausting races. On the 12km track winding through rocks, forest trails, sandy land, paved paths of the mining district and crossing rivers, the 900 riders started off in a cloud of dust. The quality of the starting grid, led by Alfredo Gómez Cantero (winner of Erzberg Rodeo 2015) and several other riders, who have already proven their skills at national as well as international level, was exceptional. Besides the six-time MX National champion Michael Staufer and Enduro World Cup starter Bernhard Schöpf, other participants were Lars Enöckl from Lunz (winner of the 2014 Erzberg Prologue), Philipp Bertl from St. Pölten and the German Manuel Lettenbichler. All of them had one goal to pass the checkered flag first. Among the eight classes of this enduro event, a special junior category for 6- to 16-year-olds was a great success. FUCHS was partner of this fabulous sporting event once again. Markus Kollenz, Application Engineer of FUCHS AUSTRIA SCHMIERSTOFFE, welcomed the drivers, the teams and the public at his stand located in the heart of the paddock. With the famous rider Alfredo Gómez Cantero, he participated in the award ceremony and handed over FUCHS Silkolene products to the winners.

6 Success in SX for Boog FRANCE Really strong finish for Desprey After intensive training on the Belgium sand circuits with his coach Jacky Vimond, the rider Maxime Desprey has proved his capacity to run on this kind of tracks. Mission fulfilled for the 23-year-old tricolor rider who secured 2nd and 3rd place respectively on the podium in Assen, the Netherlands, and won 2nd position overall at this ultimate meeting of the 250cc Motocross European Championship Winner of the SX1 Motocross French Tour on La Tremblade circuit, Xavier Boog confirmed his podiums recently won on the Lavaur and La Bosse de Bretagne tracks. The rider of the Bud Racing Kawasaki team continued his winning streak and the race for the title and will benefit from a few weeks time to tune his bike for the next race, which will take place in Metz at the end of October. Braceras At the age of 12, David Braceras, the young Spanish talent at the handlebar of a 85cc Kawasaki of the Bud Racing Kawasaki team, won the title in the 85 SX Supercross Spanish Championship. The Bud Racing Kawasaki team races can be seen on international web-tv and web-sites. The news has been seen by fans on Facebook, and the results were published in magazines and newspapers. Thousands of flyers and posters were distributed throughout the season.

7 ITALY De Angelis scores one more point at Silverstone The twelfth of eighteen rounds of MotoGP took place in Great Britain and ended perfectly for the e-motion Iodaracing team and its rider Alex De Angelis. The San Marino rider, who started from the last position on the grid, managed to make a comeback and raced aggressively on the Silverstone circuit. At the end, the 31-year-old rider earned one point, it is the second of the season, after the one obtained in Catalonia. We knew that we could deliver a good performance under wet conditions. Since we had to change the bike because of the rain I had some difficulties with this new set-up in the first laps of the race. In the end I managed to get my rhythm back very well, explained De Angelis. A few days later, on September 13, at home, during the San Marino Grand Prix on the Misano track, the luck was not on the rider s side. Unfortunately Alex s race ended prematurely due to a fall caused by Yonny Hernandez whose bike mowed down the FUCHS rider. In the crash, Alex De Angelis suffered a hematoma and a bruise to his right hip. De Angelis continued testing on the Misano circuit. After the San Marino Grand Prix he had the opportunity to try Aprilia s test team RS GP machine, a courtesy by Aprilia Racing towards the rider and the team.

8 ITALY Undeniable double victory for Pavel Lefterov at Spa-Francorchamps Sponsored by FUCHS LUBRIFICANTI S.P.A. for the full 2015 season, the fourth and fifth of six double rounds of the Euro Series by Nova Race took place on the Spa-Francorchamps track on September 5 and 6. Following the Paul Ricard (France), Slovakiaring (Slovakia) and Spielberg (Austria) rounds, the championship launched this year by the Italian promoter, came to one of the most fascinating and selective tracks, Spa-Francorchamps, with an interesting, varied and international starting grid. After a two-month break, the Euro Series reserved exclusively for GTs, offered some surprises. One was the arrival of the Bulgarian driver Pavel Lefterov. With less then 30 race hours in other series under his belt, the 17-year-old driver won two pole positions with his ASC Bulavto Racing-powered Lotus Evora since he had driven the fastest lap in both qualifying sessions. Oliver Freymouth, the current leader, with two victories scored in France and Austria with the Renault Mégane Trophy lined up by AKF Motorsport, was able to maintain his leadership overall and won 2nd place in race 2. The battle with the other drivers was very exciting on the difficult Belgian track and the arrival of the new driver will make the next competitions even more exciting. The last two rounds are scheduled on the Italian tracks of Misano and Mugello, with live TV coverage. Euro Series positions: 1. Freymouth: 101pts, 2. Helistekangas: 94pts, 3. Blomstedt: 94pts, 4. 9 GREAT BRITAIN Double delight for Byrne at Outlon Park Following a tough couple of rounds, the Penrith-based Paul Bird Motorsport team bounced back in superb fashion at round nine of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park. The reigning champion Shane 'Shakey' Byrne scored a superb double victory to get his challenge back on track. With three MCE BSB races over the course of the weekend, it was a busy meeting for Byrne and the team, but pole position for Saturday afternoon's race saw Shakey back to his best aboard the PBM Kawasaki ZX-10R. From there, he made it count and having grabbed the lead going into the first corner, he was never headed during the 18 laps and despite coming under pressure from James Ellison in the closing stages, he duly took his significant 67th career MCE BSB win. The first race saw the 37-year-old Sittingbourne rider locked in battle with main title rival Josh Brookes and there was never more than half a second between the pair. Going into the final two laps, the race was still anyone's but on the penultimate lap, Byrne suffered a technical problem which resulted in retirement and cruelly robbed him of crucial podium points heading into the showdown. With a spare engine fitted for the third and final race, it proved to be a hard fought race for Shakey and whilst he held a comfortable 2nd place in the early stages, a slight mistake after a period under the safety car saw him drop back to 4th. But in typical style, the four-time champion fought his way back into contention and grabbed the lead on the penultimate lap to take his seventh win of the season.
