TWC is #23 nationally in the NAIA, and the Rams struggled to find any rhythm in its match in Athens, TN. - Just three days prior to TWC, the Rams defeated NCAA D-2 side, Chowan University, 2-1 in OT. ABOUT THE STAFF - The Men s Soccer coaching staff consists of two full-time coaches including Head Coach Pete Dryer and First Assistant Coach Chase Neidig.

- Coach Dryer is entering a season where he has finally had the opportunity to bring in his own recruits after arriving in Bluefield last year without much time for the 2010 signing class.

- Before Bluefield College, Coach Dryer was in Beaver Falls, PA, as an Assistant Coach at Geneva College.

3 ABOUT THE STAFF - The Men s Soccer coaching staff consists of two full-time coaches including Head Coach Pete Dryer and First Assistant Coach Chase Neidig. Dryer is entering his 2nd season as Head Coach, while Coach Neidig is entering his 1st season at Bluefield. - Coach Dryer is entering a season where he has finally had the opportunity to bring in his own recruits after arriving in Bluefield last year without much time for the 2010 signing class. In his 1st season at BC, Dryer went 4-15 in With 15 new players for 2011, the Rams will look to restock a program that will only have three upper-classmen on its roster. - Before Bluefield College, Coach Dryer was in Beaver Falls, PA, as an Assistant Coach at Geneva College. Dryer helped lead Geneva to a regular season record, including a 15-4 mark this last season, and to three NCCAA Regional tournament appearances. -Coach Neidig enters his first season at Bluefield College and his first ever on the collegiate level. Neidig comes with a load of professional experience in both playing and managing. The last two seasons, he has been the Technical/Scouting Director for USL-PRO side, Dayton Dutch Lions, and College Development Director for former USL-1 pro side, Cleveland City Stars. He also has high school and club coaching experience in IN, OH, SC and MI. -Neidig brings in a very unique and concentrated outlook to the program. His ability to analyze, train, recruit and develop players complements Dryer as head coach and both are eager to boost the men s soccer program as it transitions into the Mid-South in 12. -Read more on both coaches bios on the Men s Soccer page of the Bluefield College website at COACHES CORNER It feels like forever since we have played a match at East River, and we ll defintely be excited to be back on our home field with great support. Tuesday s match was a struggle for us. With allowing a goal within the first five minutes, it really set us back. While we felt they were better technically and better as a unit, we still needed to fight better than we did, We are in a great position to finish the season on a 4-game winning streak heading into the conference tournament and a possible NCCAA regional berth if we take care of business. We have four contests which we expect to win and I trust our guys will stay focused to do so. Tennesee Temple will come at us. They are athletic and will work extremely hard. They competed well against similar opponents as ours, so we will come in as usual and look to take control of the match. We really need to see guys work hard for a full 90 minutes. I think if we can get better contribution from our outside players, this will help us in open space allowing time to possess and attack in a variety of ways. There was one upset coming in the 3-1 Fresno Pacific (Calif.) win over No. 21 Biola (Calif.) on Tuesday. Fourth-ranked Mobile (Ala.) improved to 11-1 on the year with a 3-1 win over No. 10 Belhaven (Miss.) on Tuesday. The Southern States Athletic Conference has five ranked teams and Mobile is one-half game back of league leader and No. 7 William Carey (Miss.). On Tuesday, the third-ranked Rio Grande (Ohio) offense blew up for 17 goals in the 17-1 victory against St. Catharine (Ky.).
