2 Lecturer TD354T Entertainment System Design This course offers students hands-on training with industry leading products including Hog4 from High End Systems, d3 media server, and QLab. Students learn skills necessary to program each piece of software, as well as create independent networks for show control. Projects begin as primarily skills based, and evolve into incorporating design and narrative elements. Fall 2011 Additional Teaching: Projection Design Fundamentals Workshop McKinney Independent School District This workshop focuses on the system components for live entertainment projections. Topics discussed included: projectors, playback control, projection surfaces, and signal distribution. This workshop was presented to McKinney ISD teachers and administrators Content Creation Workshop McKinney Independent School District This workshop focuses on the process for creating or acquiring imagery to be utilized as content for a production. Participants gained an understanding of copyright laws as well as various methods used to create original content.
