5 5 Notices NEWSLETTER SPORTS NEWS PUBLISHING DATES JUNIOR COMPETITORS ADVERTISING DEADLINE DATES: NOTICE FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS & PARENTS Following several reported incidents, a motion was carried at the full Board Meeting that any under-age junior member found guilty of consuming alcohol in the licenced bar area at an NRA affiliated rodeo will face a minimum 10 rodeo suspension. The objects of our association include promoting the sport to a national recognised standard and assisting committees in promoting professional rodeos. This reported behaviour is detrimental to achieving those objectives and will not be tolerated. NATIONAL RODEO ASSOCIATION APPROVED RODEO EVENTS ROOKIE AND NOVICE Rookie Competition which a competitor reaches 1000 points is the competitor s Rookie Break Open All Novice rough stock competitors are required to wear to a helmet.
