A chance to have a say We are now beginning the penning season after a few months off from a successful 2011 season.

Over the last five years I have been a member of the Chinook Team Penning Association board and have found the experience to be very fulfilling and rewarding.

During that same time there have been a number of others who have dedicated their time and efforts to all of you. To those people I tip my hat!

Next fall there will be some of the current board members including myself, that will be stepping aside and it will be imperative for new blood to join the Chinook board.

I would like to thank all of the board members, volunteers and sponsors who gave their time and money to make our association the best in Canada. Over the last five years I have been a member of the Chinook Team Penning Association board and have found the experience to be very fulfilling and rewarding. The time spent on a board such as this has provided me with tremendous insight in to what it takes to keep an organization such as CTPA moving forward in a positive way. During that same time there have been a number of others who have dedicated their time and efforts to all of you. To those people I tip my hat! My experience with my fellow board members has provided me with friends in the penning world that will be friends for many years to come. Next fall there will be some of the current board members including myself, that will be stepping aside and it will be imperative for new blood to join the Chinook board. I encourage any and all of you to consider the possibility of becoming a board member in the future.the opportunity to make changes will only happen if you get involved. Now is the time to start thinking about this and if you have some interest you should talk to any of the current or past board members.
