Smooth and quiet use of aids to maintain conformity is essential. Mirror images are important. Circles should be round and equal. Work for simultaneous lope/canter departs and haunch turns. Keep equines straight during leg yield. Timing is an essential part of this class. Use of the arena and timing of transitions will be evaluated for score. The pattern should be smooth overall and the music and decoration on the equines should enhance the performance and can be evaluated in the overall score. The close, salute and turn should also be in unison. # Element Judged Rider # Rider # Comments Score 1 At (A) Pairs enter at a jog/trot, #1 tracks left to (K) and #2 tracks right to (F). 2 Riders lope/canter at (X). #1 does a 20 meter circle to the left, #2 does a 20 meter circle to the left. 3 Riders pass at (X), #1 tracks right at (B) to (A), up centerline to (X), #2 tracks Left at (E) to (A) up centerline to (X). 4 At (X) lope/canter, #1 tracks right to (M). #2 tracks left to (H), at (C) turn down centerline. 5 Riders drop to jog/trot, At (X) both riders lope/canter track right (K) to (F) to (X). 6 At (X) drop to to jog/trot.
