1 Runners Guide Race Date and Start Time: The Mother's Day 10K will be held on Sunday, May 8 th The race will begin promptly at 9:00am. Getting There: The race will be held at Warminster Community Park Veterans Way, Warminster, PA Please take the time to verify your driving instructions prior to race morning. Parking: Please park in the designated paved parking lot. Please don t attempt to park at the start/finish area and please do not park on the grass. And please be aware that the park is open to the General Public. Registration & Bib Pick-Up: Day of Race Registration & Packet Pick-Up begins at 7:30 am (Registration will be located under the runbucks tents located at the Start/Finish line on the runway, in the event of inclement weather, registration will be held under the pavilion) Online Registration ends on May 4 th 2016 The cost of race day registration will be $ We accept cash, checks (please make payable to runbucks) If you d like to make an additional contribution - There will be A Woman s Place donation box on the tables at registration Baggage Check: We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you have a vehicle parked on site, we strongly recommend you keep all of your personal belongings locked in your vehicle. Baggage check will be available at the start/finish area. If you need to check your gear, please place all items in a bag you bring, as bags are not part of the give-away this year. Bathrooms: Bathrooms are located inside the pavilion near the parking lot. Head Phones: Please keep your ear buds out until after the National Anthem and final announcements are completed.

2 Timing/Race Start: Chip timed race with ChronoTrack B (bib) tags Bib should go on front of body and be visible at all times Do not remove or fold under the tag at the bottom of the bib Race Start/Waves: Mass Start, Everyone starts at the same time, there are no waves Weather: This event will be held in rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather conditions - thunder and lightning, we may need to evacuate the course. Volunteers: We are always in need of volunteers. Hydration Stations: Hydration stations There are two hydration stations that will go pass twice and again at 4.8 / 3.1 and again at 6 miles Course Information: A new USATF certification pending course, two loops

3 Medical Information: If you have any medical information which may be important to your care in the event of an emergency, please write that information on the back of your race bib. We encourage all runners to run with cell phones. Should you come upon an emergency, we ask that you call this phone number: PLEASE save this number in your phone in advance of the event. A member of our emergency action team will answer the call. Please give the operator a description of the emergency including The nearest mile mark The nature of the emergency The number of individuals involved and a description of their clothing This will ensure adequate care is on the way. * Please note: This number is for emergency on the course purposes only * Basic first aid supplies such as gloves, razor blades, antiseptic, Band-Aids, and Vaseline will be available at all of the aid stations. Please do not hesitate to ask a volunteer for these supplies. DNF: If you decide that you cannot complete the course, we ask that you make your way to the nearest hydration/aid station and let the Aid Station Leader know that you are done for the day. The Aid Station Leader will do their best to keep you comfortable and arrange a ride back to the start/finish area. Spectator Information: After the start of the race spectators can walk back towards the parking lot to see runners at the 1.85 mile mark and then when they pass, they can walk back beyond the start/finish to see runners at the 3.1 mile mark. And back to the parking area to see them at the 4.95 mile mark. We will have crossing guards but please use caution as you enter/exit the parking lot.
