2 UNIT SETUP DATA SHEET DEFINITIONS UNIT DATA Fast Compressor Start Control Method (SZVAV) Dehumidification Control (SZVAV and VAV) SAT Reset Method (VAV only) Smoke Purge Seq 1 PROGRAM This sequence allows the unit controller to go to a specific cooling stage when transitioning from a Standby mode to and Active Cooling Mode. There will be a 15 second delay between compressor starts. Determines how the unit will be controlled when set up for Single Zone Variable Air Volume (SZVAV) in the OCC and UNOCC modes. Also determines the UNOCC control method for VAV and FlexSys (Wired Zone Temp or Comm Zone Temp only; staged control not valid for VAV and FlexSys). Range: Wired Zone Temp/Comm Zone Temp This sequence allows the unit to utilize dehumidification if equipped with Hot Gas Reheat (HGRH). This will be used to cool the air below the typical temperature, which also dehumidifies. Allows the unit controller to utilize one of four methods for resetting the active Cooling SAT SP. Return Air, Outside Air, and Supply Fan Speed have internal control logic. Hardwired requires a signal from the Building Automation System (BAS) or Hardwired VDC signal to CTB1 Range: Hardwired/Return Air/Outside Air/Supply Fan Speed Default: Hardwired Allows the end user to determine the appropriate sequence if the unit enters a Smoke Purge sequence. Smoke Purge is a specialized sequence that is typically initiated only after a building emergency such as fire/smoke disaster. Range: Purge/Pressurization/Evacuation Default: Purge Smoke Purge Seq 2 Allows the end user to determine the appropriate sequence if the unit enters a Smoke Purge sequence. Smoke Purge is a specialized sequence that is typically initiated only after a building emergency such as fire/smoke disaster. Range: Purge/Pressurization/Evacuation Default: Pressurization Smoke Purge Seq 3 Allows the end user to determine the appropriate sequence if the unit enters a Smoke Purge sequence. Smoke Purge is a specialized sequence which is typically initiated only after a building emergency such as fire/smoke disaster. Range: Purge/Pressurization/Evacuation Default: Evacuation 2 JOHNSON CONTROLS

3 UNIT SETUP DATA SHEET DEFINITIONS (CONT'D) FORM CL1 COOLING Supply Air Tempering (VAV and FlexSys) Dew Point Reset (FlexSys only) Active Slab Control (FlexSys only) SUPPLY SYSTEM Instability Monitor HEATING Morning Warm-Up Adaptive Morning Warm-Up Night Set Back HW Valve Action VENTILATION Continuous Vent (SZVAV) Comfort Ventilation (SZVAV) PROGRAM (CONT'D) This sequence allows the unit controller to utilize the unit s heating medium if the outside air used for ventilation causes the supply air temperature to drop below the Cooling SAT SP. Does not function if the economizer is active or if mechanical cooling is in operation. Allows the unit controller to lower the active Mixed SAT SP if the underfloor air temperature approaches the dew point temperature of the air. This sequence requires an underfloor slab temp sensor and underfloor air humidity sensor be installed. Both are field provided and wired. Allows the unit controller to operate the unit s heating medium if the conditions of the underfloor slab would allow for the formation of condensate. This sequence requires an underfloor slab temp sensor be field provided and installed. This sequence is only utilized if the unit is twinned together with other units. This sequence will monitor the Supply Fan VFD speed and the Current SAT and will stage OFF compressors if the current SAT drops below 45 F or the Supply Fan VFD speed decreases drastically in a set amount of time. This sequence allows the unit s heating medium to warm up a building before the OCC period begins. This sequence is only utilized if the unit s internal time schedule is used. This sequence is used for UNOCC cooling and heating operation. For proper operation, the unit must have a valid zone temp value. This sequence tells the unit controller how the field provided/installed HW Valve is to be controlled. Only used if Heating Type is HW/Steam Heat. Range: Direct/Reverse Default: Direct This sequence allows the supply fan to run continuously during the OCC mode. This sequence will allow the unit to bring on cooling or heating before the space requires it. It is typically used for SZVAV units with higher than normal OA requirements for ventilation.
