3 Big White Ski Resort offers a wide range of activities both on and off the slopes. To ensure that everyone in your group has a fantastic time we have a great variety of options to compliment your winter getaway. The Groups Department will help you to customise the perfect program of activities for your group. We will have all of your tickets ready for collection by the Group Leader upon check in, allowing your group to maximise their time on the mountain. We would love to discuss activities for your group in more detail or if you would like to proceed with booking please contact us directly at the Big White Groups Department. * Group discounts, where applicable, apply to groups of 20 or more, staying in Big White Central Reservations accommodation. Their selection also includes helmets, cross country skiing and snowshoeing equipment. Let our professionals get you fitted with the perfect gear for you. While this is a free service and no bookings are required for individuals, for Group tours pre booking is essential. By pre booking we can also arrange for your group to have their own private host! This service is offered daily, departing from the Snow Host Sign across from the Village Centre Mall at 10:30am. The tour is absolutely FREE!! Please note; We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour departure in Ski wear with all ski equipment ready. Not a skier or snowboarder? The Snow Hosts now offer cross-country skiing tours Thursday to Sunday! This is the perfect way to explore the 25km of Nordic trails.

Offering a fun and relaxed environment to build confidence on the slopes and improve skills. In the morning, join other ladies of similar ability for a 2 hour group lesson followed by a luncheon at Happy Valley at Noon with wine tasting, and prizes. MASTERS MONDAYS Open to everyone age fifty or older this program includes a 2 hour group lesson at any level from complete beginner to expert rider, as well as a fantastic gourmet lunch prepared by our amazing chef at the Kettle Valley Steak House. 7 kids centre group lessons Big White kids centre Where memories and learning are inspired through encouragement, accomplishment and friendship. Every child will have a fun and memorable learning experience. Group lessons are available for: SKI CUBS (AGE 3-4 Years - Ski Only) SNOW RIDERS (AGE 5-7 Years - Ski and Snowboard) RIDGE RUNNERS (AGE 8-12 Years - Ski and Snowboard) with pre-lesson activities, supervision and progress card. Half day lessons; Start at 9:45am or 1:15pm (registration and activities from 8:30am or 12:30pm). Full day lessons; Start at 9:45am (registration and activities from 8:30am) and include Lunch. TOT TOWN DAYCARE Voted Best Place to be Abandoned by Your Parents by Ski Canada Magazine, the Tot Town Daycare is ideal for the pre-ski child, or for the child who does not wish to ski the whole day (age 18 months to 5 years). Each day at the Tot Town Daycare Centre is unique, exciting and filled with activities and adventures both indoor and outdoor. For all rates and information on Tot Town programs please click here. Located in the Happy Valley Adventure Park, the Big White Tube Park is a fantastic way to get your group together. No skill or equipment is required - just a sense of adventure and a desire for excitement. The Big White Tube Park has 5 specially groomed lanes for thrill seekers to enjoy, so no matter what age, everyone can enjoy a high speed ride down the slopes. The park is open Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday to Sunday 2:00pm to 9:00pm, making this a perfect activity for once the lifts close. ICE SKATING There s nothing quite like skating on an outdoor rink surrounded by snow covered trees and picturesque views of the mountains. Take a spin on Canada s highest skating rink - it s the same size as an Olympic Hockey rink! Located in the Happy Valley Adventure Park, jump in on a pick up game with the locals or take a leisurely skate with family and friends. 9 activities snowmobile tours This exciting activity takes guests on guided scenic tours through the forest trails and backcountry of Big White Ski Resort. Drive your own snowmobile or double up with a friend. Your tour begins by familiarizing yourself with the dogs, sled and harnessing techniques. Once you are ready for the open trails you will head off on a beautiful 3 mile trail through the Big White forest. Your hosts, Tim and Kerry will meet you at the bottom of the Magic Carpet in the Happy Valley Adventure Park. Total tour time is approximately 1-1 1/2 hours including set up and interacting with the dogs. Friday 9am Only $ Important information; Guests must be 3 years of age or older to participate and must be physically fit to participate in the tour as there may be some running involved. All children aged 3-10 years must wear a helmet. Guests 14 years and older may participate in driving the sled. Please ensure you dress warmly, including goggles, gloves and outdoor winter boots. Ski boots are not permitted. Any cancellations or changes to your booking require 7 days notice. ICE climbing tower Scale over 18 meters of ice, nearly one meter thick. The ice tower is built with 4 telephone poles cross braced together then flooded with water which freezes into thick blue ice. With a beginner side and others for more advanced climbers or those looking for a challenge, this is an activity for all fitness levels. We will organize a bus and tickets for your group to enjoy a night watching our mighty team play at Prospera Place in Kelowna. Select dates are available check with the Groups Department to see if there is a game playing during your stay! snowshoe tours Snowshoeing is fun for everyone! Choose from guided tours for varying levels of ability or rent your own snowshoes and choose your own adventure. With an extensive trail network get off the beaten track and explore the beautiful winter wonderland. Small Group example itinerary; Explore the wines of the Okanagan region, starting at Cedar Creek Estate Winery, moving on to Summerhill Pyramid Winery and after lunch sample more wonderful wines from Calona Vineyard.
