1 Fall 2018 Explore and Grow Your Professional Edge Academic Technology Services A Division of Information Services Topic Catalog ATS Main Office in Learning Commons Rm Aug
2 Hone Your Professional Edge Academic Technology Services (ATS) has developed a calendar of workshops to assist you in your own professional development. At first glance, this list of workshop topics can seem overwhelming. Here are a few suggestions on how to take advantage of the ATS resources. Take a few minutes to reflect on your current skill set. What are somethings I do well? What do I wish I was better at? What changes can I expect in my profession over the next few years? What skills do I need to build to be ready for the future? What workshop topics or opportunities may help me get there? Once you ve answered these questions check the list of workshops and see if any meet your needs and add them to your calendar. If the times don t work for you by reaching out to a staff member we can schedule I time that works best for you to get that information. If you need to build skills in an area not listed, just make an appointment with an ATS Staff Member to develop a strategy to help you. ATS Staff members are resourceful and have resources on many subjects, not just the topics listed in the current workshop schedule.
