4 Don ts DONT: - Use handphone in public view - NO Smoking in Uniform - Gather around and chat - Leave your station unless given permission - If you don't have anything to do, report to Area IC - Speak to the media or give any comments to interview - All media interviews, direct them back to your respective IC - Do not give statements of any sort or speculation

5 Pointers: - Ensure that there is someone to mend the game station/take over you before you go for meal break or toilet break (inform Area IC) - Do not close down the game station - If unable to deal with the donors refer them to SRC/UP staff - If unsure please check back, Let me get back to you - We appreciate your feedback and will take your feedback and inform SRC Closing of Stations: - Depending on how long is the queue, UP staff will inform the Volunteer IC of the stations on what time to cut the queue. Eg, the queue takes 30mins to clear, queue must be cut by 5.30pm. - 1 volunteer have to stand at end of the queue as a last man to inform that the station is closed.

9 Carnival Coupon All game station will need 1x coupon to participate in except for Junior Play Zone & Fringe Activities (required to present invite card to participate). Game Station Volunteers to use permanent markers to strike off coupon when they participate in the activity. 26 Terrorist Threats In line with Singapore Police Force risk assessment and advisory, all staff members will be briefed to look out for suspicious vehicles and individuals according to the aide memoir issued. During the event, any suspicious articles, vehicles or individuals are to be reported to HQ via Emergency Communications plan.

29 FAQ 1. Is the event open to public? No, this event is only for Invited Donors only. 2. Where is the nearest toilet? Inside Visitor Centre or Kallang Wave Mall. 3. How do i get a carnival coupon/invite card? Only invited donors will receive the invite card that comes with the carnival coupon. 4. Do I need to pay for the games? No

30 FAQ 5. Why is WBDD on fasting month? The official WBDD iso 14 June, we hold our celebration on the first 2 weekends of June to align with that 6. Why do you only give dates to Muslim donors? You should give them to everyone! Muslim donors break fast with dates during Ramadan. They have to fast from sunrise to sunset and are unable to partake of the carnival food. As a gesture, we are providing dates for them to break fast later on. If you are not fasting, we recommend going for the 3 different types of snacks at our snack counter. 7. I lost my invitation card. (Direct to HSA/SRC Staff) Provide IC as long as it match with the system, a replacement will be issued

31 FAQ 8. You should make this open to the public Thank you for your suggestion. However this is an annual event to show our appreciation to our nation s blood donors. We occasionally have events that are open to public. Do visit recross.sg or Singapore Red Cross Facebook page to find out more and sign up. 9. Why is the queue so long? We recovered overwhelming response for this year s carnival and are doing our best to accommodate everyone. We have catered for more snacks this year as well. There are also estimated queue times displayed at every activity and snack counter so that you can maximise your time here. If you would like to take a break or relax a little, you can watch the performances at the main stage 10. Can I donate blood today? There is no blood drive at this event. You may visit our other blood banks if you would like to donate blood.
