Danish Open is a long course championship. Non-Danish swimmers participate on equal terms with Danish swimmers. The A-final consists of the eight fastest swimmers. The B-final consists of the next eight swimmers. The C-final consists of the following eight swimmers. All individual races of 400 m will be held with A- and B-final. The A-final consists of the eight fastest swimmers. The B-final consists of the next eight swimmers. All individual races of 800 m and 1500 m will be held with a direct final. The fastest heat is placed in the evening session. If two or more swimmers have achieved the same time in A-, B- or C-final, their individual placement will be solved by drawing lots. If two or more swimmers have achieved the same place e.g. last in C-final and first reserve the individual placement will be solved by a swim off. The swim off will normally be held according to normal rules for swim off. WITHDRAWLS PRELIMINARY HEATS Withdrawals from preliminary heats have to be handed in, in writing, latest at the day before. This is to be handed in at the Competition Office. An with info about the withdrawal can also be sent to: jette.j@webspeed.dk. You can also use the Wingrodan Sync program for which you will receive a code. WITHDRAWLS FINALS Withdrawals from preliminary heats have to be handed in, in writing latest 30 minutes after the result of the preliminary event has been published. LAST CALL ROOM 15 minutes before the start of the heat in both preliminary heats and in the s each competitor shall appear in the last call room located close to the pool and stay there until a sign will be given to move on to the starting platform. Failing to appear in time in the last call room will result in a warning the first time and may result into exclusion from the final should the swimmer repeatedly fail to meet on time. Page 4 of 7

5 VICTORY CEREMONY Immediately after all C-finals the victory ceremony will take place. Competitors who after the request by the speaker will not appear personally at the last call room and join in the ceremony will not receive a medal. MASSAGE This may only take place at sites made available for that purpose by the host organization. ENTRY FEE: For individual events DKR 110, - or Euro 15, - pr. swimmer pr. event. The entry fee will not be returned under any circumstance. It is only with this acknowledgement your entry will definitely be received by the Danish Swimming Federation. Depending of the total number of entries there can be a possibility for swimmers with at least one entry time to participate in up to three races in total. For swimmers who wish to participate in extra races the name, year of birth and the wanted races in order of priority as well as entry time be stated clearly in the entry form or enclosed in the .
