3 General Meeting Information 1. Organizers SWIM-TEAM TuS 1859 Hamm e.v. Rietzgartenstraße 46 D Hamm / Germany 10TH HAMMER SPARKASSEN-CUP 2. Regulations The rules and regulations (WB and RO) of the German Swimming Federation (DSV) and the anti-doping regulations will be in full force during the competitions. The competition is open to members of clubs or teams which belong to a DSV associated federation. The competition is also open to all foreign members of clubs or teams as far as their national federations are FINA members and are entitled to compete. 3. Health / License When entering swimmers for this competition the club has to prove that swimmers are healthy. Without this proof entries must be rejected by the organizing club. Clubs and teams, which belong to a DSV associated federation have to be careful: The competition is open only to swimmers who are registered at DSV and the annual license fee of EUR 12, - is paid. This is to insure by sending the entries according to completion rules (WB) of the German Swimming Association (DSV). 4. Location of competition / GPS MAXIMARE, East of Hamm Center Jürgen-Graef-Allee Hamm / Germany 5. Specification of the pool The swimming pool is 50 m long with 8 lanes, divided by wave breaking ropes. Competitors can use the pool for warming up until 10 minutes prior to the competition. The depth of the pool is 2.40 metres at all points. Water s temperature is 27 C. Automatic measuring will be in use. (Colorado Time Systems). The one-start-rule will be applied no false start. 6. Registration Registrations must be sent by . Please use as far as possible the DSV-forms no. 101 and 102. or the enclosed registration forms. In case of sending registrations according to above mentioned standard DSV both forms have to be attached. The clubs and teams have to make sure their own contact s data validity (address, fax, ). Incomplete, illegible registrations or registrations without entry-time cannot be accepted. Each team has to include to the entry list the number of athletes, also the number of team companions. Later incoming entries could not be considered.

4 10TH HAMMER SPARKASSEN-CUP 7. Entry fee The entry fee is 5,00 Euro per person and each start for the 50m and 100m tracks. The entry fee for the 200m and 400m tracks are 6,00 Euro per person and each start. 10,00 Euro per relay start. The entry fee has to be paid latest one week before the competition via bank transfer or at arrival cash before the first start. Please ask for the Orga-Team in the Check- In Zone (accreditation). IBAN-Code: DE BIC: WELADED1HAM (Sparkasse Hamm) 8. Start Lists Start lists will be available approximately one week before competition starts at: (please check subpage Wettkämpfe and Sparkassencup ). There will be no mailing of start lists in front of competition due to the organizers! 9. Limitation of heats In case of problems with the time schedule the organizer himself reserves the right to limit the number of entries, max. is 3300! Events of 400m Freestyle and 400m Medley are limited to 5 heats. The approval of entries for a competition will be done equally among the respective age groups, depending on the entry time. That means, the fastest entries of one age group will take priority. Even entries within the standard times will be reversed in case to a necessary limitation procedure. We will occasionally check entry times at official listings. Events of 400m Freestyle could be started with two athletes each lane. In this case time taking will be manual. 10. Heat set up All heats will be set independent from age group only sorted by entry times. For the finals of the 50m races the fastest eight athletes will be qualified. 11. Panel of judges Each club or team with more than 10 entries (starts) has to provide one judge. Please give also information regarding qualification and favourable job. For more than 30 entries you have to provide two, for more than 50 entries you have to provide three judges and for more than 70 entries you have to provide four judges. 10. Variations The Organizer will be able to change the competition schedule (warm up and start times) depending on the amount of registration entries. The final schedule will be provided with the official start lists (see 8.) 11. Valuables The organizer will not take liability for thefts, accidents or any other damage might occur. 12. Catering The MAXIMARE casino offers various drinks and food. All judges will be invited for lunch on day of operation. 13. Journey, accommodation The clubs have exclusively to request, book and reserve accommodation for themselves. Actual journey information will be sent via mail with the invitation or our Website! 14. Visa affairs Teams which are need for visa to enter Germany for participating at 10 th Hammer Sparkassen-Cup are recommended to make a contact with their competent authorities and our Organizer-Team. This should be done 6 weeks at the latest before final entry date (that means at the beginning of January 2017). 15. Any Questions? Places 4-10 will receive diplomas. For all events a side of 50m races medals will give for ranks 1-3 and diplomas for ranks 4-8. For the finals we give separate from cash (see below). Team Ranking All team members of the relays of the first three relays of each group will also get medals. 1. Prices Individual Ranking Euro for all winner of the finals 75 Euro for the swimmer (male and female separated) with the most points Cups for the most points in each age group Cups for the winning team in the relay events 2.
