1 Don Bosco Oratory Facility Rules Basketball a. Indoor: i. The indoor court is meant strictly for the use of Basketball and volleyball (as per adjustments made). ii. Members are expected to wear full sports attire on court.(jersey, shorts, cads) iii. Writing on the walls/floor, in the changing rooms, rest rooms or the other parts of the indoor oratory section will be severely treated. iv. Members are expected to play within their own allotted time-slots. vi. Only on special occasions (tournaments or specialized training camps), safe lockers will be provided to the members in their respective changing rooms, on reservation/request to the director. vii. Non-members will not be allowed within the premises. viii. No members are allowed in the oratory stock room (right corner in the basketball section) expect the members responsible for their respective sport faculty. ix. Mis-behavior or misconduct of any sort will not be entertained within the Oratory premises. Such members will be respectfully requested to leave the premises and/ or membership terminated, as per the seriousness of the matter x. Guests of members are welcome with due permission of the Director/Rector. However, misbehavior, damage, etc. are liable to sanctions and fine on the member accompanying them xi. Voluntary service is encouraged. (check rules VI) b. Outdoor i. The outdoor court can be used for general purpose besides basketball at the discretion of the management. ii. It will be lent after due permissions for practices (Other School or Club Team) iii. Members could avail of the facility within free timeslots. iv. Rules of Conduct mentioned in the indoor complex are applicable in the outdoor as well.

2 Badminton i. The oratory hall provides 2 indoor badminton courts. ii. Members are expected to play with full sporting attire for the game. iii. Members should bring along their own rackets and Shuttle-cocks for practice sessions. iv. In case of need, members can purchase the Shuttle cocks from the Oratory Sports store at a concessional rate. Badminton Rackets can be borrowed with the exchange of the cards vi. During special coaching sessions, members are requested to give preference to the coaching students, in their allotted time-slots. vii. For organized tournaments and special matches, the shuttle cocks and/or rackets will be provided by the oratory as per availability viii. Equipment can be borrowed at the discretion of the Director and the availability in the Oratory, from the stock room with the exchange of the Oratory card. ix. Sports equipment (Rackets, Shuttle, Nets, Poles, etc) borrowed from the oratory should be handled with care and returned to the stock room after use. x. Necessary permission of the one in-charge should be taken before use of the court. xi. Mis-conduct will be dealt with severely in and around the court.

3 Table Tennis i. The sports room of the Oratory is provided with 2 table-tennis boards (new) and 4 tabletennis boards (old). ii. Reservations for the tables should be done and respected by the members. iii. Members are expected to bring along their own Table-tennis ball and racket, or in case of emergency purchase the same from the office. i v. Equipment can be borrowed at the discretion of the Director and availability in the Oratory, from the stock room with the exchange of the Oratory card. vi. For tournaments and special matches, the table0tennis balls and/ or bats will be provided by the Oratory, as per availability. vii. Members are expected to take care of the Oratory equipment: Table, Nets, Bats, Balls, etc. Carrom i. The sports room of the Oratory is provided with 4 Carrom boards (new) and 4 carrom boards (old) ii. Reservations for the boards should be done and respected by the members. iii. Carrom coins will be supplied to the members with the exchange of the oratory card at the stock room. iv. Exact number of Carrom coins + Striker has to be returned back to the store after use. vi. More carrom boards will be provided during tournaments and special matches. vii. Members are expected to take care of the Oratory equipment: Boards, Coins, Chairs, etc.

4 Pool i. The sports room of the Oratory is provided with 2 senior and 2 junior pool tables. ii. Reservations for the tables should be done with a minimal reservation fee at the office and respected by the members. iii. Equipment can be borrowed from the stock room with the exchange of the Oratory card. i v. For Tournaments and special matches, necessary equipment will be provided for, by the Oratory, as per availability. vi. Members are expected to take care of the Oratory equipment. vii. Non-members are not allowed within the premises of the Oratory indoor hall. viii. Any damages on equipment will have to be made good by the members responsible during that particular time slot. Football i. The Oratory complex has within its premises 2 standard football fields. ii. Members can avail of this facility for regular practice. iii. Preference will be given to regular coaching and special tournaments organized by the Oratory. iv. In case the grounds are lent to other Government or private organizations for use, the same will be informed on the Oratory Notice-Board. v. Equipment borrowed should be returned without damage to the Oratory reception, at the exchange of the membership card. vi. All damages to be reported in person to the Oratory Reception, as well as the Director, at the earliest. Failing to do so will make the member liable to disciplinary action and fine to make do the damage done.

5 Volleyball i. The Oratory has one indoor and one outdoor Volleyball court ii. Indoor court will be made available for special occasions and tournaments while the outdoor court will be available for regular use. iii. Preference will be given to coaching and tournaments organized. iv. Equipment borrowed should be returned without damage to the Oratory stores, at the exchange of the Membership card. v. All damages to be reported in person to the sports stores, as well as the Director, at the Cricket i. The Oratory has two outdoor cricket Practice pitches with nets and a ground, which can be used for cricket games. ii. The practice pitches are of cement and clay iii. Members are expected to b ring along their own cricket gear (pads, bat, guards) for reasons of hygiene. However, in case necessary, the equipment will be supplied by the oratory stores in exchange of a card. iv. All damages to be reported in person to the sports stores, as well as the Director, at the Board Games i. The Oratory stores provides a host of other board games to children of various age groups as well as adults, that can be borrowed and used by the members in exchange of a card. ii. All damages to be reported in person to the sports stores, as well as the Director, at the iii. An update of the Board games will be displayed at the Oratory sports counter.
