4 OVERVIEW OF THE KIT SUPPLIERS OF THE EN- GLISH PREMIER LEAGUE The 20 Premier League teams are sponsored by six different sportwear brands Adidas, New Balance, Umbro, Nike, Under Armour and Puma comprise the official kit suppliers of the 20 Premier League teams Adidas is the dominant brand with six teams adding to their portfolio the three promoted teams for the upcoming season Adidas climbs up to the first position as the kit supplier which has partnered with 30% of the total Premier League teams Four teams have switched brands for the upcoming season, including Crystal Palace from Macron to Puma, Wolverhampton Wanderers from Puma to Adidas and Huddersfi eld and Leicester from Puma to Umbro and Adidas

6 Some English Premier League clubs have adopted this new way of sponsorship to increase their revenue Last season was the first time Premier League clubs were allowed to reach sleeve sponsorship deals. This upcoming season Manchester United will display for its first time a sleeve sponsor with Kohler Wolves will also have a sleeve sponsor for the first time, after promoting to EPL, with a cryptocurrency exchange platform company. Financial services lead the way of industries which have more sleeve sponsorships deals in season

7 KIT MANUFACTURES PREMIER LEAGUE Gambling companies sponsors nine out of 20 Premier League teams, one more than the previous season. Gambling companies usually make more shirt sponsorship investments in smaller clubs Gambling partners are not present in any of the traditional top 6 clubs
