2 CBHCC Introduction Following one of its most successful seasons to date, Chester Boughton Hall is now looking to engage with new sponsors ahead of the 2015 season. This document has been developed to give an indication of the varied opportunities the Club can offer to those wanting to partner with a vibrant and dynamic facility and to indicate just some of the exciting benefits that a partnership could bring to your business. Background Chester Boughton Hall is a Cricket Club, the home of Chester Nomads Football Club and a thriving events venue. Established in the 1870 s the Club, based in Boughton, Chester now has six senior cricket sides including an extremely successful ladies team and arguably the best junior development scheme in the North West. Competing in the Cheshire County Cricket League, of which the 1 st XI is in the ECB Premier League, the Club is extremely active and boasts enviable sporting achievements. Their success brings with it a strong following of loyal supporters at all levels and constant media coverage, both local and national, throughout the year. P.O.A New Nets Opportunity to brand the new 47k nets being built this winter with help from an ECB grant. A special opportunity to advertise your support of the development of all players at the club including the youth teams. Enviable location with branding of main panel, side panel and inside of nets providing sight from every angle. P.O.A New Covers The club requires three new covers and there is opportunity to sponsor one or all three. Covers are visible at all times of the season, either protecting the wicket or strategically placed at the boundary edge and offer the ideal opportunity to display a sizeable sponsor s logo. 1,500 per cover per 3 yrs Boundary Wedges Either one main sponsor or a number of sponsors. Each offers an ideal opportunity for sponsorship, with the sponsor s name being associated with the event at all opportunities, including (where appropriate) posters, tickets, newsletters, references to the event on the website and social media, menus & trophies. Sponsor a player for the season with press photo opportunities and online recognition. Commercially the most accessible package available. 7 CBHCC Why Your Support Matters CBHCC is an important part of the community in and around Chester. As one of the premier sports clubs in the area it is characterised by success on the pitch, of which there has been plenty to be proud of recently. But of more importance in my opinion, is the role it plays in fostering important values on and off the field; inclusiveness and diversity, family orientation, the concepts of teamwork and playing hard but fair, and a genuinely outstanding commitment to investing in youth development. These values have been nurtured over many, many years and I m proud that my family have both contributed to, and hugely benefited from, this nurturing. I encourage you to do the same; to become part of this fantastic club. Thanks to this Club I am now also representing the Cheshire CCC team. The way it manages to balance the competitive edge with enjoyment for all, makes me privileged to be involved. We aim to build on the skill, enjoyment and camaraderie that develop through our children s cricketing years. In addition to weekly play, summer holidays bring the excitement of junior training camps run by our qualified coaches. These popular sessions have led us to invest in an Academy team giving young players a taste of adult matches; the result is a thriving junior section represented by 8 teams from U9 to U18. On Friday evenings, when youngsters play cricket and their parents relax and enjoy refreshments at the Club bar, you get a real sense of fun mixed with great community spirit. There is a sense of purpose and achievement which is what team sport is all about. Boughton Hall also inspired and encouraged my sister to get into cricket, playing for the ladies team and both the Club and I are proud to say she went on to represent England at national level. I believe the Club provides a great platform for people of all ages to come and demonstrate and develop their skills. This really is the premier sports Club in the area boasting the best ground in the county with first class cricketing facilities. Despite the clubs great successes and its large member base it is still very much a family orientated club. This truly has become a second home to me and my family, and why not!! It is a friendly, fun, exciting and safe place to be with a cracking bar. Many lasting friendships and cherished memories have been made at this great Club - I would hugely encourage anyone and everyone to get involved.
