3 Thank You! Thank you for taking on the role of team manager. A good manager is extremely valuable for our coaches as they have been asked to focus on coaching, you allow them to do just that. As a manager you will need to communication on a regular basis with your teams coach and parents. In addition to communication a number of logistical and clerical items will be required. This manual should help guide you along, but don t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns you have as we are here to help! Thank You!

8 Uniforms Policy has been to refresh uniforms every 2-3 yrs Summer 2017 will be the beginning of the new uniforms Uniforms not part of registration fee; paid for separately since Summer 2014 (before that, uniforms built into summer fees; new fall players paid $30 for kit) New uniforms starting Summer 2017

12 Game Day Competitive Match Report Needs to be completed and given to referee prior to every game No match report, no play!!! Addressed / Stamped Envelope (Home Team) (Formally received a packet with labels at team meeting for each home game; need to hand address now?) Referee sends in match report Scores need to be reported via TEAM S website link

13 Ejected Participant Form (formally called pink form ) Form used for Players and Adults Who should complete Referee must sign when incident occurs Referee must sign after each game the participant / coach sat out When red card is given, referee mails pass along with ejection form Form is temporary pass once signed by referee(s) for required # of games

14 Online Score Reporting Online using web address, login and password provided in the team receives after doing district online training ALL teams MUST report scores IN THE MYSA SYSTEM BOTH teams are responsible for reporting scores Standings will be updated real time Do not report forfeits CONTACT YOUR COMPETITIVE REPRESENTATIVE Fines for not reporting scores by deadline Good practice to report within 24 hours for spirit of standing updates

16 Game Rescheduling Hints Request reschedule asap if you will not be able to field a team due to school events, etc. For home games, you can check tentative field availability at Get 3 possible dates that work for you & other team Joe Tuzinski (ref assignor), Yander Sanchez & Sean Qualy (field coordinator) put game # in subject line

17 Rescheduling Games Process 1. Contact opposing team and select three dates that would work for both teams. 2. Referee Coordinator at and Field Coordinator Sean Qualy at as soon as you are aware there is an issue, please remember that there are referees to cancel. A minimum of 48 hour notices will be needed to coordinate referees and field locations Your should contain: A. In the subject line of the please included master game number and the date of the original game (i.e. Reschedule Game #2495, May 15, 2011). This will eliminate timely and unnecessary s asking for clarifications, which could delay the process. B. Include three possible dates and times for rescheduling. The goal is to get a quick response back to the Coaches within a 24 hour time period. If this cannot happen a status update will be provided to requesting Coach. 3. Field Coordinator will check which dates work and coordinate with Referee Coordinator, and will back with appropriate response. *NO- will need to re do process or *Yes- desired dates work 4. Home Team Coach will confirm new date, time and field assignments with Away Team Coach. 5. Home Team Coaches (even if the other team requests a game reschedule it s the Home Team s responsibility) will need to complete the MYSA online reschedule form which prompts the official request sent to Field Coordinators and Referee Coordinator of the Home team. It is not until the Away team accepts the reschedule time that the change to the scheduled game will be completed. *If the Away team rejects the rescheduled game the process will need to be restarted again.

19 Tournaments HFC pays for the following: Jamboree (U9 and U10 Teams) September 30 th Location TBD Deadline to register September 8 th earlier the better Post Season Play (U11+ teams) Register online (same site as reporting scores) Deadline to register- not for fall season State Qualifiers not done in the Fall Season State Championships- October Rochester,MN

22 Other Items Communication Make yourself available especially on game day s / Phone / Cell Player Pass Pick Up Registrar (Lynn Otto) will notify teams when passes are expected to be available Passes will not be released for players with outstanding fees and/or paperwork (non-volunteer fees, etc.) Guest Players Up to 3 guest players; roster max dressed for game Follow guidelines as set by traveling director Do not give passes directly to the player!
