8 Why Two Leagues? MN Only State where the State Association ran the one and only league NSC ran a small US Club League TCSL grew out of a need for a different way to play with more flexibility in a tighter geographic area Competition is Good Tonka United is one of the largest clubs with 80+ teams and one-size doesn t fit all Neither League is better than the other Both Leagues have multiple levels of play MYSA has promotion relegation at the U14+ age groups, TCSL allows DOC s to place teams at the appropriate level of play

11 Parent Player Experience How to Have a Happy Team Winning solves everything But, since that is not the main focus If you can make the off-field stuff fun, the on-field experience is better Start with sideline behavior expectations Serve together Do something social Tailgate Away tournament experiences
