1 2018 Rise Reliant Power Cup Coaches Packet This packet is intended to provide information for coaches and team managers about how the 2017 Rise Volt will be run, and tips to make the tournament successful and fun for you, your players, and their families. Administrative Details Team officials (coaches/team managers) must have available (in paper or digital form) at all times medical releases for all players. Medical releases can be obtained here. Team officials from visiting (non- Rise teams) must also have player passes of all players participating in the tournament. Check-in: There is NO physical check-in for this tournament. All check-in must be done online prior to the tournament s start. Scoring Team officials are responsible for reporting the scores. Referees will be given a game card for each game. At the conclusion of each game the game card will be given to the winning team official (or home team official in the case of a tie). That team official will be responsible for (1) reporting the score online or over the phone (instruction on a subsequent page), and (2) turning the game card in to the Site HQ. You can see where each site s headquarters are by referring to the maps included. If the scores are not reported, the standings won t be updated. Please do your part. You can check the standings and schedule here, also accessible from the tournament page. is always a challenge at tournaments. Please encourage your families to take the following steps to reduce parking headaches: Give yourself plenty of extra time to arrive at the fields. If you re running late you will be tempted to stop in the middle of the roadway and drop kids off at the fields, which is both unsafe and slows down the progress of other drivers. Carpooling will reduce your stress as well. Medics We will have athletic trainers at all parks to help with any issues that arise. Their location is noted on the maps. There are some parking spaces in front of their location. Please reserve those spaces for the medics and people seeking treatment (signs will be posted).

2 Weather So far the forecast is for clear weather, but as weather can always change I encourage every family to be subscribed to RainedOut to receive weather and other emergency alerts via and/or SMS (text messages). The Awards tent at South Campus will be near the medics as shown on the map (near the SE corner of the Emery/Weiner School parking lot). All finalists will be able to pick up 1 st or 2 nd place medals at the awards tent upon conclusion of their final match. Concessions We will have limited drinks and snacks for sale at the site headquarters for each location. Depending on weather, Kona Ice will be at the Community Park near the South end of the complex (near fields 1-3), Camp Sienna, and South Campus. A coffee truck and a food truck will be at Camp Sienna and South Campus as well.

Teams can call in the results by using the phone number, Event ID and PIN from the game card as shown below (Note: The Event ID and PIN number will be different each year, your game card will print with the correct information). Alternatively, teams can use the GotSoccer web site to report game results by scanning the QR code with their phone, or following the instructions below. Access the GotSoccer web site and click on the Scoring Input link: This will display the Event Scoring Access screen where, after entering the Event ID and PIN the user should click the Go button: This displays a screen where the user will input the Game Number and click Go again:

After entering the information, click on the Add button. Additional players should be entered as necessary.

Be sure to select the correct box for the appropriate type of card given. The dropdown boxes for Player and Code should be used to select the correct player and card reason. After entering the information, click on the Add button. Additional players should be entered as necessary. Click in the R box to enter any red cards issued and then once all cards have been entered, click on the Back button to return to the Event Scoring screen for the game. If necessary click on the Y or R boxes for the other team to enter any cards issued. Once all cards are entered the user should be back on the Event Scoring Screen. Click in the Home or Away score box to display the screen below to enter the game score. After entering the score be sure to click the Save button.

Please hand the card to the site coordinator or referee coordinator. can be a challenge, helped by parking in the right place. Turf Field Park outside stadium on North Side of Emery/Weiner parking lot. Field 1 Park on South Side of Emery/Weiner parking lot Field 2 Park on South Side of Emery/Weiner parking lot or in the Western lot accessed from West Belfort, near futsal courts Field 3 Park on East Side of Emery/Weiner parking lot Field 4 Park in the Western lot accessed from West Belfort Fields FBF, C, D, E, & F Park in the lot at the corner of West Belfort and S. Please hand the card to the site coordinator or referee coordinator. If no-one is there, look in the referee area next to the concession stand on the first floor. These two locations are immediately next door to each other. can be a challenge, helped by parking in the right place. Pershing Pershing Middle School has a large parking lot to the south of the fields, accessed from Stella Link. There is also legal parking on Bellefontaine (but always check signs). You may not be able to get to the fields without walking around, however. McGovern There is a small lot at McGovern accessed from Braes. There is another lot at the south end. There is legal parking on Braes and Blue Bonnet (but always check signs). Please respect the property of homeowners and do not leave trash. DO NOT PARK AT YMCA!
