What dn t yu like / cncerns yu, if anything, abut the draft prpsed plicies? D yu have any suggested refinements t the draft prpsed plicies? D yu have any advice fr the City t cnsider regarding implementatin? ATTENDEES Sharla Cte, Sctt Thmas, Sue Luchuk, Evan Hunchak, Dn Black, Patrick Mah, Derek Yau, Michael Richter, Jhn Klein, Terri Sleeva, Bb Parker, Mark Whiting, Shaadie Musleh, Jy Sluser, Tevr Bashnick, Jeannie Mah, Edward Jnes, Mnique Kealey, Dennis Nagel, Viranga Tennakn, Wayne Hydeman Overall - Needs t be strnger allcatin/directin t funding f transprtatin within the city eg transit. - When will peple see actinable items/timeline fr pririties in the plan? - Hw t ensure the TMP plicies will cnfrm t the plicy in the OCP? - When will the public see budget/csting f items in the OCP? - Peple wuld like t see a reprt card n achieving the bjectives/plicies f this Plan. - Living dcument imprtant t have a frum fr stakehlders t participate in the OCP review prcess: need a cmmunicatin feedback lp where the City can reference new spending t achievements in the OCP. The OCP needs t be evaluated n criteria/metrics such as, is it easier t get arund? The OCP needs a stakehlders annual reprt Administratin shuld be respnsible/accuntable t cuncil and cuncil shuld be accuntable t the public Frequent updates t the public/stakehlders inclusive f different frums, visiting stakehlder grups - Plicy Additin: Prperty prtectin and acquisitin/jurisdictinal bundary reviews (e. Prince f Wales, Pinkie Rad) fr key crridrs fr rad capacity/cnnectivity.

Prtectin fr future rights-f-way. Acquiring ther rights-f-way (eg: rail) t imprve cnnectivity in the netwrk. - Need mnitring and evaluatin f mdal splits/users in the netwrk. - Schl Bard: Under Gal #1, the City needs t encurage winter maintenance especially walkability t and arund schls. - Winter active transprtatin walking, biking crss cuntry ski trails needs t be priritized. - Priritize active transprtatin in winter and spring. (The City cnducts an annual review f winter maintenance where it assesses increased service especially fr sidewalk clearance). - IF residents are t walk t wrk clear the sidewalks in the dwntwn in winter. Use ur infrastructure. - Elphinstne priritise active mdes fr winter clearance. Identify as a primary nrth suth active transprtatin cnnectin within the netwrk. - Agree, recgnize r ensure that under Gal #2 ensure public transit links with as many public buildings as pssible (and netwrk). Under Gal #3, increase accessibility between public buildings, and under Gal #4, require traffic calming in neighburhds. - Schls tend t be lcated n primary crridrs which slws dwn traffic. (The design f bike facilities separated/mixed/ther are t be reviewed in the TMP). - The design principles fr bike facilities culd be emphasized in the OCP. - Assess pssibilities fr bike facilities in the OCP including separated bike lanes where apprpriate and necessary. Need imprvements t safety f cyclists in cngested areas f the city. - Has the City reviewed the Saskatchewan systemic human rights assessment and impact n the TMP? (City has assessed the rights assessment)

- The plicies are vague and use nn-specific terms. Develp achievable measurable standards/targets within the plicies. - Definitins missing definitins. - What is the definitin f quality f life scial and physical attractiveness f place. Suggest using WHO definitin f quality f life. - Prvide detail twards - Ensuring, inviting, cnnected accessible mbility rutes within the city depends upn - Hw is the OCP linking different cmpnents in the netwrk fr safety reasns. - The sectin des nt have a snw clearance plicy. - Transit systems waiting fr buses at stps that are nt cleared and peple are waiting/freezing. - The Plan shuld identify/include glbal drp-ff pint fr glbal bus stps that are heated and accessible. Plicy 3.13 include in park n ride plicy 3.17 include in imprve rider amenities. 3.4 include in review winter maintenance prcedure. - Winter maintenance includes getting t and ff the bus. - Imprve winter maintenance design prvisins fr majr transit facilities (eg, ndes and hubs). - Under Reginal plicies wuld the Park n Ride be extended t White city? (Any reginal park n ride wuld need t be a partnership based prgram with cllabratin f surrunding rural municipalities. Benefits t the City wuld include reduced traffic cngestin in the City. The City f Regina is wrking with the Prvince n a transprtatin mdel t assess different transit scenaris (in the regin) and identify impacts n the netwrk). - Wuld the Park n Ride include G bus / g train?? - Is the City mnitring the attachments fr bikes n the frnt f the buses hw well utilised are they?? Can this be included in the mnitring prgram. - Add bike strage t park n rides ensure they are part f the facility design and hubs and ndes. - Within new cmmunities ensure that transit shuld be part f the design. - 3.16 prvide transit service as sn as feasible. Designed within the cmmunity/part f the cmmunity and nt afterwards. - What is the Rad Classificatin System? (Review as part f the TMP speaks t hw we design arterials versus cllectr rads and requirements in industrial versus residential. Identifies requirements fr new rads/expansin f existing rads. Will lk at existing system and use f the rads winter rad designatin are priritized and need t be cnsidered as part f the classificatin update. Rad classificatin will include apprpriate sizing (iereduce r increase lanes) and ensure bike lanes are included. In the end narrwed future rads with imprved active cnnectins).

- Classify pathways as pririties fr winter maintenance in additin t rads. Dn t need t clear all the sidewalks dwntwn but at least ne street frm all directins. (City is assessing whether they need HOV lanes in the TMP. Will be applied t rad expansins. Rad sharing will be assessed using parking lane at peak hurs fr HOV. Gets peple thinking abut hw they can change behavir t get int the HOV. ) - Design f transit stps will reflect vlume/demand n the rad (transit pull-uts r stps n the street). - Wh enfrces HOV?
