Christmas Gala Dance Our premier event of the year, The Christmas Gala Dinner & Dance held on Saturday, December 12th at the Great Hall, Somerville House, Western University was a fantastic success!. All of our members and guests looked their best and for the first time in history - it was a very warm night outside! We were very fortunate to have our very own Level 2 instructors, François and Melody Vallerand perform for us this evening. What a treat! Melody and François warmed up with a flirty Cha-cha, they then completed a beautiful, graceful Viennese Waltz, and their last dance, a sizzling Tango.
After the performances our D.J. Pamela Forbes played late into the night. Included throughout the evening was a lot of great dancing, a few line dances, and our favourite quickstep card game. A very big thank you goes out to the sponsors of door prizes at the Christmas Gala. The sponsors are as follows: City of London Alquest Financial David's Tea Picards Nuts François and Melody Vallerand Thank you for contributing to a very special evening!
