Dates and Obligations November 1, 2015- Stomp DAT participation packets posted February 4, 2016- Rules & Regulations Meeting @ 7:00pm (mandatory for ALL team coaches) March, 05, 2016- Registration form due by March 05, 2016- Music, bio, CD/MP3 March 19, 2016- Check-In @ 12:30pm Doors open @ 2:00pm Thank you for agreeing to participate in our 11 th Annual Stomp D.A.T. Youth Step Show. Your complete team packet includes the following items: 1. One (1) Promotional Event Flyer and 5 postcards You may make as many additional copies of the flyer as you need. 2. Each team will be required to submit a non-refundable $40 registration fee for participation in the event. The registration form and monies must be received before any tickets will be distributed to the team for selling. Once your registration fee has been received, twenty (20) Event Tickets will be issued to the team coach on the designated date and time. Each team is required to sell a minimum of 20 tickets. The deadline for payment of the 20 tickets is March 5, 2016. You may request more tickets after you have paid the $200 minimum at any time before the day of the show. A cash prize will be awarded in each division. There will also be a cash prize awarded to the team that sells the most tickets prior to the event. Tickets purchased at the door will not count towards this award. 3. Team List Return the finalized list of competing members by March 5, 2016. *Return to Dyann Ryans,by email at stompdat@yahoo.com 4. Liability Waiver Make the necessary copies and complete a waiver for each member of your team. All completed liability waivers should be turned in with the finalized team list and MC Introduction form by March 5, 2016. The completed forms can be scanned and emailed to stompdat@yahoo.com They can also be faxed to (404) 773-0807. *Absolutely no waivers may be signed during the check-in process* 5. Scoring Teams will be judged by Pan-Hellenic Greek judges and or dance/step affiliates based on: Intro Outro Attire Originality Vocal clarity Attitude Precision Facial expressions Difficulty of routine Incorporation of the Stomp DAT theme 1. The highest and lowest score for each team will be omitted to ensure impartiality. 2. In the event of a tie, every judge will be given one written vote to determine the winner. 3. No score sheets will be released. Comment sheets will be emailed to the teams after the show if requested by email. Rules 1. Each performance should be no more than 10 minutes in length. (Performance starts once the entire team is on the tarp 2. No Greek symbols or names representing sororities or fraternities may be worn or displayed in any manner. 3. No hazardous, flammable, or potentially dangerous materials or props allowed. (Safe props are allowed) 4. No fire, water, or confetti allowed. 5. No throwing items into the audience or judges. (No team member should touch or place items near or on the judges tables. 6. All segments of the performance must take place on the tarp 7. No wooden sole shoes. 3

Penalties Each minute over the time limit will result in a five (5) point deduction. The points will be deducted in fractional parts of a minute rounded to the nearest quarter (i.e. 15 seconds over time = 0.25 point deduction). Justification for Automatic Disqualification 1. Ticket money and/or liability waiver not turned in 2. Use of profanity, sexual gestures, or obscene music 3. Unsportsmanlike conduct (as determined by Event Chair) 4. Performing with less than five step team members 5. Performing less than five minutes 6. Appendix Exhibit A Step Show Floor ANY stepper that is in this area at any time at the start of the show, middle of the show or end of the show will results in 10 point deduction for each member outside this area. This deduction will be taken from the overall final judge score. Please note this deduction can be notated/indicated by a (any) judge OR a (any) member of the Judge Staff that witnesses the infraction. 4
