Prince Ziggy - slow into stride. Raced three wide without cover. Fifth placegetter; rider Linda Meech was reminded of her obligation to ride her mounts out fully to the winning post. High Embrace - fourth placegetter; rider Boris Thornton was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out fully to the winning post. Euroman (GB) - disappointing; rider John Allen was of the view his mount may be better suited over further distance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Race 3 - TAC F&M Maiden Plate - 1400 metres: Lovology - after being fractious in its starting stall underwent a veterinary examination and was subsequently a late withdrawal on veterinary advice at 2.04pm and the filly must now gain further approval in a jump out before racing again. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly had sustained an abrasion to its near stifle and abrasions to its forehead. Royal Conserve - steadied passing the winning post on the first occasion to avoid the heels of Hasta Bebe (NZ) (Jye McNeil) which was shifting in; Jye McNeil was advised to exercise more care. About The Journey (NZ) - hampered near the 700m when bumped by Discern (Jack Hill) which shifted out; Jack Hill was advised to exercise more care. War Story (IRE) - hampered shortly after the start when bumped by Elite Tiger and Ferro Nero (NZ) which both shifted ground. Pay Up Bro - held up for clear running from the 350m until approaching the 200m. Race 7 - Morris Finance BM64 Handicap - 1100 metres: High Diamonds - connections advised would be ridden further back; settled towards the rear of the field. Raced wide without cover. Hampered at the start after bumping with Arties Party. Murphys Reward - slow to begin. Arties Party - tightened for room shortly after the start between Written Return and High Diamonds which both shifted ground. Zeusman - steadied at the 800m when racing keenly and having to avoid the heels of Written Return when the tempo steadied.
Race 8 - Aglab Services 0-58 Handicap - 1400 metres: Mr Bobbi - after being fractious in its starting stall, reared as the start was effected and as a result was slow to begin (3L). Raced wide without cover from the 800m. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. The Tinker - slow to begin. Prie Dieu - settled further forward than anticipated, tactics queried; rider Jessica Payne explained that after beginning very well and racing fiercely, she allowed it to stride forward to obtain a position outside the leader near the 1200m. Ambassador Lad - raced wide rounding the home turn and upon straightening shifted out abruptly away from Apocalypto, which was also shifting out. Beltum - performed below market expectations; rider Linda Meech stated that in her opinion the gelding is better suited on a track with more give and may be looking for further distance.
