Show will be sanctioned by The American Boer Goat Association and their rules shall govern. ABGA Sanction Rules: Eligibility of Animals All goats must be registered in the ABGA herd book by the date specified by the show. All goats entered into ABGA sanctioned shows must be registered with ABGA in order to acquire Ennoblement points. Original registration certificates are required, except that a copy of a registration application, stamped with the date received by one of the listed associations, can be accepted for kids less than 3 months of age. Animals over the age of 3 months must have the original registration certificate in hand at the time of the show. All goats must be appropriately identified and comply with USDA Scrapie Eradication Program Guidelines. Call 1-888-USDA TAG (873-2824) or visit the following website for more information: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/animal_health/animal_diseases/scrapie/ 2. Classes will be provided for both Percentage and Full Blood Boer Goats. 3. Base date for the show is November 8, 2014. 4. The deadline for registration forms and entry fees is October 1, 2014. Late registration will be accepted until October 15, 2014 with doubled entry fees. No entries will be accepted after October 15, 2014. Any entries received after this date will be returned. NO EXCEPTIONS! Entry fees and Ag Fees Payment Form must accompany the entry form. Mail entries to: National Peanut Festival, 5622 US Hwy 231 South, Dothan, AL 36301. 5. Any exhibitor, or owner, in any way involved in showing a fraudulent entry will automatically forfeit all prize money won by himself or his farm and will be barred from future participation in this show. 6. Entry fee is $10 per animal, plus a $5 Pen Fee (including Tack Pens), payable to NPF. 7. The animal Birth Date and Registry Number must be included on the entry form. 8. Alabama Health rules shall be observed. ALL goats must have an official health certificate issued by an accredited veterinarian, certifying the animals to be free from symptoms of contagious and/or infectious diseases. Certificate must be issued within 30 days of the show. 9. The barn will be open for goats to arrive at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 7, 2014. 10. Check-in will be from 12:00 Noon until 10:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2014. A last minute check-in will be held on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM. Show books will close at 8:00 AM. 11. Exhibitor quarters must be kept clean. 12. All pens will be set and have first shavings. NO PENS ARE TO BE REARRANGED!

13. Animals will be released after completion of the Boer Goat Show. 14. No pens are to be rearranged. The only exception is the center gates may be opened. 15. AFTER UNLOADING, ALL TRAILERS NEED TO BE MOVED TO THE DESIGNATED PARKING AREA. All entries must have Scrapie Tags. 5. Alabama Health rules shall be observed.
