4 Feel the difference Without doubt the best decision: RECARO. There are significant differences in terms of safety and comfort among the numerous child seat systems currently available on the market. Not all child seats are equally effective in every vehicle, you must therefore ask yourself the question: Which seat is the right one for our child? The answer has to be: A RECARO without doubt the best decision. The right child seat is distinguished by several important factors. As age is regarded as a guide only, the seat must be perfectly matched to the weight of the child. The, child seat and vehicle must also be perfectly coordinated as only then is optimal safety guaranteed. We always recommend that you take your child for a sitting and fitting session at your dealer, where you will quickly see whether the seat fits the vehicle and whether or not your child likes it. You must always ensure that your child is not at risk from the airbag! The rear seat bench is without doubt always the best place for the child seat. Investigations carried out by the German Association of Transport Underwriters (GDV) show that two out of three children are not correctly secured. In 96.1 % (!) of cases, this is due to the incorrect fitting of child seats. The consequences, in the event of an accident, can be serious. The RECARO Isofix system is an extremely safe and convenient method of securing the child seat in the vehicle. This enables the two seats RECARO Young Profi plus (ECE group 0+) (which was confirmed in a test carried out by the ADAC to meet high safety standards 1.3) and the RECARO Young Expert plus (ECE group I) to be quickly and easily fixed in the car. The standardised mounting points in the vehicle easily anchor the platform onto the locations provided (vehicle must be factoryfitted with Isofix). The seats are then firmly connected to the Isofix platform. It is then no longer necessary to fasten the seat using the 3-point standard seat belt but this can be used as an alternative. Regardless of which RECARO Young Seat you choose, you can be sure that nothing is closer to our hearts than safe driving pleasure for you and your family. To avoid the incorrect fitment of child seats, we have concentrated on easy operation and simple use of seats inside the car. It goes without saying that all RECARO Young Seats are subjected to numerous crash tests with maximum requirements for safety. For RECARO, the Crash Standard ECE-R 44/04 often quoted by child seat manufacturers is only one of the conditions to be satisfied. A 24 month warranty comes as standard on our RECARO child seats. 7 Make the right choice: RECARO. Since 1993, it has been a legal requirement for children to be secured in vehicles. This involves the use of child restraint systems constructed, tested and approved in accordance with ECE Regulation 44/03 or 44/04, which bear the ECE test mark. The ECE standard differentiates between five different weight groups: Group 0 (up to 10 kg, up to approx. 9 months), Group 0+ (up to 13 kg, up to approx. 15 months), Group I (9 to 18 kg; from approx. 9 months to 4.5 years), Group II (15 to 25 kg; from approx. 3 to 7 years) and Group III (22 to 36 kg; from approx. 6 to 12 years). keep their appearance and softness during the entire lifetime of the seat. As the right seat not only has to fit but also has to please the little ones, all seat models are available in different cover types. The high-quality Topline is made of sophisticated Microfibres, which have qualities similar to those of velour and conveys a unique and incredibly soft feeling. The covers are Öko-Tex-certified, breathable, dirt and stain-resistant and All covers are removable and suitable for machine wash at 30 C. All materials used were strictly examined for colour and abrasion fastness and compatibility and fulfil the strictest standards such as DIN, FMVSS or BS. 35 RECARO Monza Seatfix Safety driving pleasure in sportive design RECARO Monza Seatfix. The integrated Seatfix fasteners of the RECARO Monza Seatfix can be anchored in the Isofix reference points of the vehicle. The child is secured by the 3-point belt on board and exposed to less pressure in case of a side impact. The seat can also be used in vehicles without Isofix reference points.
