Abdominal Belt with Perineal BAND The abdominal restraining belt includes an articulated system to let the patient turn on to either side, sit up, and sit on the bed. It can be installed easily before or after the patient has gone to bed. The lower part, with fixing bands and two tabs, has to be fixed to the bed or stretcher frame; the upper part has to be placed around the waist of the patient. A band around the thorax prevents from slipping and loosen the harness. With this product there is a transversal strap included of which its use stops a violent or immediate incorporation so that the patient cannot injure themselves or others. For non violent patients, this harness can be used without the transversal strap and the patient obtains a higher grade of mobility being able to sit up on the bed but not slip up.
