2 Chapter I. Organisation. Article 1. Definition of the event. The event SPA SIX HOURS 2018 has the status of International Event and consists of the following series: Race 1 : Spa Six Hours Endurance Race 2 : FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship Race 3 : FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship Race 4 : Gentlemen Drivers Pre-66 GT Cars Race 5 : Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars Race 6 : Masters Endurance Legends Race 7 : Historic Motor Racing News U2TC Race 8 : Woodcote Trophy & Stirling Moss Trophy (MRL) Race 9 : Pre-War Sports Cars (MRL) Race 10 : Historic Grand Prix Cars Association Race 11 : Formula Junior HRA Race 12 : Historic Sports Car Club (Closed Wheel Race) Race 13 : Jaguar Classic Challenge The series 2. FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship & 3. FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship are part of an FIA Championship. They will be organized within the scope of the FIA International Sporting Code prescriptions as well as the Supplementary Regulations Round No FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship Round No FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship. VISA OF THE ASN No. C-S-SSH-FIA-026 and VISA OF THE FIA No 7.MH.BEL Article 2. Organisation. The event will be organized within the scope of the FIA International Sporting Code prescriptions in compliance with the 2018 prescriptions of the RACB Sport and these supplementary regulations. Modifications, amendments and/or changes to these Supplementary Regulations will be announced only by numbered and dated Bulletins (issued by the Organiser, the Stewards or the Clerk of the Course). Each car must meet the mandatory safety equipment of historic cars competing in Belgium, published by the RACB on Friday, February 09th English version available on our website at French version available on our website at Each race will be governed on the basis of the technical regulations of its own serie/organisation regarding the eligibility of the cars (safety equipment, see above). All the entrants undertake to respect these texts by the very fact of their entry or of their participation in the event. Article 3. 3 3.4 Secretariat: Roadbook Organisation (see 3.3) As from Wednesday September 12th 2018, 8 am: Circuit of Spa Pit Building 1 st floor - Room n Date and Location of the event : 14, 15, 16, September 2018 Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps Route du Circuit Francorchamps Belgium 3.6 Circuit : Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, 7004 m. Direction: Clockwise 3.7 Length of races: According to the timetable. See article 5. This timetable can be modified by the Stewards, in agreement with the Race Director, if necessary. 3.8 Duration of the Event : The event begins with the sporting check (signing on) and ends at the very end of one of latest following delays : - period of protest or appeal. - Publication of the final/suspended results of the race in accordance with the code. - End of the prize giving. 3.9 Sporting check (Signing on) : - For all drivers : 1st floor of the F1 Pit Building Room Thursday Sept.13 : from 08:00 till 19:00 and/or Friday Sept. 14 : from 08:00 till 90 minutes before your qualifying practice Minimum licence requirements : Please check with the promoter of your series about the specific licence you need. For the races : Race 4: Masters Gentlemen Drivers Pre-66 GT : Minimum UK Int H (or D) only Race 5: Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars Championship : Minimum UK Int H (or D) only Race 6: Masters Endurance Legends : : Minimum UK Int H (or D) only For the race 7: Historic Motor Racing News U2TC : any International licence or Belgian national licence. For all the other races (minimum requirements) Licence from Belgium RACB Sport : National Historic H-Circuit or National Circuit C or International Historic H2 or International C Licence from United Kingdom RAC MSA : Race National 'A' or Race International Historic or Race International, with a letter of authorization from the ASN Licence from The Netherlands KNAF : EU/Nationaal licentie or Internationaal licentie, with a letter of authorization from the ASN Licence from France FFSA : Nationale Concurrent Conducteur Auto or Internationale Concurrent Conducteur "C" Auto, with a letter of authorization from the ASN Licence from any other european country : National A degree (or equivalent) or International for racetrack with a letter of authorization from the ASN Licence from a non-european country : International degree for racetrack with a letter of authorization from the ASN. The entrant and the competitor must sign their waiver of appeal (insurance) themselves. The driver may not take part in the practice or race before having signed the waiver of appeal. All competitors and drivers must be in conformity with the 2018 FIA International Sporting Code Appendix L regarding licences medical check - helmets overalls. 4 Licences must be valid for the outstanding year for historic races, with the appropriate historic level. Authorization to start the race with 110 cars. Extra cars can participate in the race by starting from the Pit Lane Scrutineering : Precise location for each series will be given at signing on. Safety equipment of historic cars competing in Belgium specific for each serie can be found on the website of Roadbook : English version available on our website at French version available on our website at NEW PROCEDURE FOR ALL THE DRIVERS At the signing on, you will get : - your personal Inspection of Equipment form - your personal Scrutineering of the Car form INSPECTION OF EQUIPMENT Inspection of equipment (Helmet, Overalls, Gloves, Shoes...) will be done in the room 131, 1st floor F1 Pit Building. Visit the room 131, with your personal Inspection of Equipment form received at the signing on and with all your personal Equipment. The Equipment of each driver must be inspected. SCHEDULE OF THE INSPECTION OF EQUIPMENT Thursday 13 : 08:00-19:00 Friday 14 : 08:00 - till 90 minutes before your qualifying practice SCRUTINEERING OF THE CAR At the signing on, you will get your personal Scrutineering of the Car form as well as the practical details to reach the technical area. Specific procedures will be given during the briefing Briefing : Briefing instructions will be given at signing on for each driver. The driver must sign the briefing himself as evidence of receipt. Non-presence at the briefing will result in a fine of 150. It is the responsability of the promoter of each serie to ensure that all the drivers got acquainted with the racing procedures Prizes and awards : Presentation of the Prizes and Awards will be done in the F1 Podium, after each race, according to the specific modalities for each serie. The podium for the Spa Six Hours endurance race will be the Endurance Podium Parc fermé : A serie organiser may check the eligibility of its cars after the race under the scope of the specific regulations of his serie. 10 Chapitre II. Proceedings of the races. Article 8. General Prescriptions. All the prescriptions for the general safety discipline signaling wall procedures suspending & resuming a race safety car procedure application of the regulations Protests & Appeals will follow the rules from the F.I.A. International Sporting Code prescriptions in compliance with the 2018 prescriptions of the RACB Sport. The Clerk of the Course must inflict the penalties set out in the sporting regulations. For all cases not provided in the regulations, the will hand over a report to the Panel of the Stewards of the Meeting, that will apply the regulations provided by the International Sporting Code or National Sporting Code. Right to Protest : - the amount of the Right to Protest is fixed by RACB Sport : 500,00 Right of Appeal : - the amount of the National Right of Appeal is (RACB Sport) : 2.000,00 - the amount of the International Right of Appeal is (FIA) : 6.000,00 Article 9.
