19 2018 FIA FORMULA 3 CHAMPIONSHIP DECISION 19 Document No 71 To: 65 - Enaam Ahmed - Hitech Bullfrog GP Date: 24 June 2018 Time: 12:00 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director (document No 67), having examined video evidence, summoned and heard the drivers Enaam Ahmed & Robert Shvartzman and team representatives Dan Hodder & Grazia Troncon (summons No 11 & 12), have considered the following matter, and determine the following: Driver and car No: 65 - Enaam Ahmed Competitor: Hitech Bullfrog GP Time (fact): 10:31 Session: Race 2 Fact: Caused a collision with Car 10 Lap 1 Turn 1 Offence: Breach of Article 16.l(d) of the 2018 FIA F3 European Championship Sporting regulations. Decision: Drive through penalty. This penalty is imposed after the race and therefore in accordance with Article 16.3 of the Sporting Regulations, 20 seconds are to be added to elapsed race time. Two penalty points will be added to the driver's record. Reason: The stewards reviewed the video evidence and considered the Car 65 did not give sufficient room to Car 10 and made contact with him, Car 10 in turn made contact with the wall. The driver of Car 65 admitted that he had made a misjudgement of the situation.
