1 2017 Show-Me Rally 1 Show-Me Rally October 7, 2017 These Regulations are presented as supplements to the 2017 Edition of the Performance Rally Rules as published by Rally America. 1 Description 1.1 Show-Me Rally: Washington Co (Show-Me Rally) will take place on the roads of Washington County, Missouri on October 7, Show-Me Rally, regional rally, is part of the 2017 Rally America Championship Series. 1.3 Show-Me Rally is a single Coefficient 2 event. 1.4 Rally Headquarters will be at the Super 8 Motel in Potosi, MO 1.5 Show-Me Rally will start in Potosi, MO on October 7, 2017, and finish in Potosi, MO on October 7, There will be a Parc Exposé at Lions Park in Potosi, MO. Competitors and service crews are permitted to work on the cars during Parc Exposé. Section 12.5 of this document will still apply. Drivers and Co-Drivers are required to be present (in driving suits and ready to go) to show their cars and discuss the sport with spectators and press. Be aware that lateness at the Parc Exposé will result in a penalty of a $100 fine (per PRR 8.2.B.4). 1.7 Scheduled services will take place at the Red Wing Shoes in Potosi, MO 1.8 All stages during the Show-Me Rally are on unpaved surfaces. 1.9 Amendments or additional provisions to these will be announced by dated and numbered Competitor Bulletins. All bulletins become an integral part of these regulations. Copies of bulletins will be included in competitor registration packets. Any bulletins issued subsequent to the registration packages being prepared will be posted on the Official Notice Board and we will attempt to provide copies for each team. 2 Organization 2.1 Show-Me Rally is organized by the Show-Me Rally Committee of the 100 Acre Wood Performance Rally Group. 2.2 Address and contact information for general matters pertaining to the event are as follows. 2 2017 Show-Me Rally 2 Phone: jonathan@100aw.org 2.3 Official Contacts: Co-Chairman Jon Fugina Randy Stroede jonathan@100aw.org randy@100aw.org Rallymaster Steward Robert Wright Rob Bohn 3 Entries 3.1 Entries open the August 21, 2017, and close at the close of registration on October 7, Entry may be made online at Entry Fee is $350 (payment must be received by the close of registration for entry to be valid). 3.4 Entries submitted at the event must be paid in cash or by credit card. 3.5 Payment will be accepted using credit cards at the Show-Me Rally website, ( ). Cash or check entry must be mailed to the Treasurer. Make check payable to 100AW Performance Rally Group. Send to: Margaret DeMotte 1008 N Bompart Ave Webster Groves, MO Entry fees will be refunded, less a $50.00 processing fee, if the entry is not accepted or if the team withdraws prior to the start of the rally. No refunds will be made after the start of the rally. 3.7 The total size of the competitive field for this event will not exceed 25 cars. 4 Fuel 4.1 There will be no race fuel available at the event. 4.2 Fuel with an octane rating of 93 (R+M) is available in Potosi, Mo.

3 2017 Show-Me Rally 3 5 Testing 5.1 No reconnaissance of any nature is allowed on county roads within Washington County for a period of 90 days prior to the 2017 Show-Me Rally. 6 Reconnaissance 6.1 No reconnaissance will be available for Show-Me Rally. 6.2 Competitors are to navigate the course using only the official route book supplied by the organizers. Competitors found in possession of either stage notes or pace notes during the running of the event will be excluded. 6.3 Persons who help organize Show-Me Rally and obtain knowledge that may be considered a competitive advantage may still run the event as a competitor, but will be restricted to an Exhibition class (non-scoring) 7 Registration 7.1 Registration will be held at the R-3 Transportation Facility (Potosi, MO) on Friday and at Lions Park (Potosi, MO) on Saturday, see the map in Appendix Registration will be per schedule in Appendix The Official Notice Board will be at Competitor Registration on Friday evening, Park Expose on Saturday morning, and at Service Saturday afternoon. 7.4 PLEASE REMEMBER all participants (competitors, service personnel and volunteers) under 18 years of age must have the signature of one parent or legal guardian on a Rally America minor waiver form in order to receive a wrist band. We will have these forms available at the registration site. 8 Scrutineering 8.1 Scrutineering (tech inspection) will be held at R-3 Transportation Facility (Potosi, MO) on Friday and at the Lions Park (Potosi, MO) on Saturday, see the map in Appendix 2. Driver and co-driver safety equipment (helmets, suits, restraints) must be in the car. 8.2 Scrutineering will be per schedule in Appendix All vehicles must carry competition numbers in the required locations. Numbers and number backers will not be available at event. Rally America number backers can be obtained prior to the event from Rally America. Contact for visual package ordering information. Permanent numbers are assigned by Rally America; if a competitor does not have a permanently assigned number we will assign one just for this event. 9 Practice Stage 9.1 No practice stage is scheduled for Show-Me Rally.

4 2017 Show-Me Rally 4 10 Start of the Rally 10.1 The start order will be determined by the rally stewards by 10 AM October 7, The starting list will be posted on the Official Notice Board as soon as possible after the close of registration Cars will be reseeded as necessary at the service break following stage 3 and 7. The restart order will be posted on the Official Notice Board approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of stage 4 and Any Rookie Driver or Navigator who is not in attendance at the Rookie Orientation Meeting will not be allowed to start the rally and no refund will be provided. Please be on time as the Orientation will start promptly at 9:00 AM. 11 Running of the Rally 11.1 Time cards for each leg will distributed at the MTC preceding that leg Competitors will be provided with a tulip Route Book, no stage notes will be provided All speed limits are given in the Route Book. If the speed in the route book is different from the posted limit, the lower of the two prevails. Any penalties for excessive speed will be based on the lower limit All rally officials and their delegates are Judges of Fact. Their observations constitute valid testimony, and they are authorized to report violations of these rules and the Rally America rules to the Stewards All competitors are advised to commit the paragraph in the Rally America rules (7.10) concerning Force Majeure to memory. Remember, all stages are hot until stopped by a red cross or the Organizers The Maximum permitted lateness for the rally is 30 minutes. Exceeding 30 minutes results in a time-bar 11.7 In the event of a large time gap between teams, an ATC may require a competitor to immediately enter the time control early without penalty in order to reduce the gap and improve safety. Competitors so waved in must comply without delay. It is in the team s best interest and helps avoid a time-bar due to scheduled stage closing times. 12 Service 12.1 All servicing will be done at Red Wing Shoes in Potosi, MO. Service spots are first come, first served Each service vehicle and its personnel must be registered. All service crew participants, including minors, must sign a waiver at Registration. Proof of insurance (declarations page) for all service vehicles is required at registration Service crews must notify the service area coordinator when they leave the service area to retrieve a broken car Trailers are allowed in service. Trailers are not allowed at Parc Exposé.

5 2017 Show-Me Rally Service crews must use a tarp under competing vehicles at all times while they are being serviced. These tarps must extend beyond the vehicle in all directions. Violation will constitute illegal service as per PRR 8.2.A Primary fuel depots are located within the service areas, so additional service personnel will not be required. The only permitted activity in a fuel depot is the addition of fuel as defined by PRR 10.1.J. Competitors or service crews must clean up any spills. Failure to do so will incur a $150 fine, payable to 100AW Performance Rally Group During Service, Competitors will be allowed to go to BP to refuel. (830 E High St, Potosi, MO) 13 Impound and Tear Down 13.1 The will be no planned impound and tear down at Show-Me Rally. 14 Results 14.1 Results will be posted in accordance with Rally America rules.
