1 SW REGION of NCCC Tin Hall Toys, Texas Outlaws C.C. & CEN-TEX Oklahoma Thunder 2017 SWR - NCCC invites you to Oklahoma Thunder, May 13&14, We will be racing at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit the entire weekend. If you like to run Hallett and high speeds, this is your chance Saturday, Gates open at 7:30AM with drivers meeting at 9:00 AM. We will run 7 High Speeds. Sunday we will again run 7 High Speeds; gates open at 7:30AM with drivers meeting at 8:30 AM. We will be utilizing Hallett s transponder timing system. Your rigs/cars can be left at the track the entire weekend. Hallett does offer electric hook ups for RV s at a nominal price as well as Raceports, contact the track at for details. Hallett Motor Racing Circuit is a 1.8 mile, 10-turn road racing course, with varying grade elevation changes, located 35 miles west of Tulsa, Oklahoma, just off the Cimarron Turnpike at the Highway 99 exit. The host hotel will be the Hampton Inn at 7852 W Pkwy Blvd in Sand Springs. The hotel is located just off the corner of highway 64/412 at the 81 st St exit. 5 Hallett HST (High-Speed Touring) for Corvettes May 12, 2017 Southwest Region of NCCC has its annual timed-high-speed event at Hallett May 13-14, This year Hallett officials have been asked by several NCCC members if we could host an HST day Friday, May 12, This is what we came up with: MUST have a minimum of 10 committed to the Friday event. We can make this HST happen only with 10 experienced drivers@$300 (or or maximum of Same format and rules as we use at all Hallett s private HST days: required morning meeting, no more than five cars on track at a time; a small crew of workers, no ambulance on site, a wrecker only if needed ($50/ incident), passing on the straights only, etc. If at least three Driver Education students are interested, we will hire an instructor and have a special DE group that day. HST is another $50/student and will include a DVD and a HST license. No NCCC membership fees are necessary for the lapping sessions; however, you will need a current High Speed Touring license from Hallett or another similarly sanctioned venue approved by Hallett officials. Be sure you have long-sleeved cotton shirt and long pants, closed toe shoes, SNELL certified helmet, good brakes and tires. Each driver is required to sign a release of liability and a medical release with Hallett as well as complete and sign a tech sheet completed by self or his/her qualified mechanic. A current tech sticker for your sanctioning group can be accepted for the track day.
