Part I emphasizes legal interviewing, legal drafting, and negotiation. Part II entails a clinical work experience. Part II is not required, but Part II may not be taken unless Part I has been successfully completed. Clinical Seminar may be repeated up to 6 credits. The Dean's Office will register all first year students for the Spring 2015 semester. This course cannot be repeated. Course work will span Spring and Fall Semesters. Sem: Advanced Constitutional Law will be offered entirely online at the times listed on the schedule. Under ABA Standard 306(e) states that students have to complete 28 credit hours before they can take this course. The prerequisites for this course include Constitutional Law I and Constitutional Law II. Problem Solving Day sections will take place January 5-8, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Students not required to take Advanced Legal Applications who have a GPA of 2.5 or below, can petition for enrollment into the class by contacting Assistant Dean Donna Palmer. The ALR course consists of a series of required and elective modules. A total of 14 module hours must be completed to earn credit for this required course. Students must take the two required modules the semester they initially register for ALR. The GWR for Individual Studies & Research (ISR) must be authorized, in advance, by the Instructor of Record. This course is required for graduation and students should enroll either during the semester in which the student received credit for completing the pro bono service requirement, or for the last semester of the student's enrollment, whichever comes first.
