Upon successful completion of zone tournament, BNB will rebate each host center the total registration fees collected in successful zones based on the number of teams playing. When there are 8 teams or less in an age classification at the Provincial Level there will be no Zone playdowns held, only Provincial playoffs. The team fees will go to the provincial host. (NEW - amended as per AGM 2003) Arguments supporting the : Baseball NB no longer uses the zone tournament model and we do not collect 75 from each team. 1st Dan MacDonald, 2 nd Scott Geikie Carried #2 brought by: Baseball NB Executive approved by: Baseball NB Executive proposed: Change Tournament Manual Hosting Responsibilities #5 Original(e): The Host Committee is responsible for the cost of putting on the Tournament and may be entitled to charge reasonable admission fees for entrance to the games. Teams shall not be charged an entrance fee for Tournaments leading to a Provincial, Atlantic or National Championship. Each team shall be responsible for their own meals, equipment, accommodations and transportation. New: The Host Organization is responsible for the cost of putting on the Tournament and may be entitled to charge reasonable admission fees for entrance to the games. Teams shall not be charged an entrance fee for Tournaments leading to a Provincial, Atlantic or National Championship. Baseball New Brunswick will reimburse to the host organization the cost of one plate and one base umpire for each game played during sorting and provincial tournaments.

5 New Business / Affaires Nouvelles The Executive Director notified the membership in attendance of the following items; 1.-The Baseball NB board of directors has approved a new social media policy which will be forwarded to the membership once translation is completed. 2.- The Baseball NB board of directors has approved high performance policies regarding the program and player selections. These will be available on the Baseball NB website. 3.- The Baseball NB board has approved the organizing and development of a provincial 14U girl s baseball team to attend the 14U Atlantic event in This project will be spearheaded by Gerry Leblanc 4.- Baseball NB will be offering a 13U winter development camp in As determined by the board of directors the Sorting Tournament dates for the 2017 season will be as follows: All 18U and 11U sorting tournaments will take place on the last weekend in July. All 15U and 13U sorting tournament will take place on the first weekend in August.
