1 The Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA) is the governing body for amateur hockey in the Province of Saskatchewan with a mandate is To Lead, Develop, and Promote Positive Hockey Experiences. SHA membership boasts approximately 200 minor hockey associations operating out of hundreds of rinks in cities and towns across Saskatchewan. SHA registered membership is approximately 45,000 per year, including players, team officials and referees. We offer several print advertising opportunities to market your company with the SHA, including: website, e-newsletter, event programs and annual handbook. Sponsorship opportunities also exist within some of our key programs/events including SaskFirst, Provincial Playoffs, the Saskatchewan Development Model, Hockey Weekend, and the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame. 2 SHA E-BLAST The SHA has compiled a database of approximately 20,000 subscribing members. This is an excellent way to reach people of all ages who are interested in receiving news about your hockey programs and promotions! Cost (1) Cost (2) Cost (multiple) E-blast $2000 $1500 each To be determined based on scheduling needs We want to help you maximize the effectiveness of your e-blast, so we have the following guidelines: - No more than 300 words - No more than 5 links - No more than 2 photos / pictures From researching how to increase read rates and how to get s past spam filters, these have been the most effective tools to insure maximum results. As well, please note that our e-blasts are already put in a newsletter format so we cannot send fancy s. We just need the text, links, and jpgs (sent separately, not embedded) This is an amazing opportunity for your organization to reach our membership in a very direct way.

3 SASKFIRST TOURNAMENT PROGRAMS SaskFirst is the Saskatchewan Hockey Association s elite program for the top players in our province. We have 3 separate divisions within this program: Female (age 13 to 17); Male Bantam (age 14); and Male Midget (age 15 to 17). The SHA invites players from across Saskatchewan to attend zone camps, from which the top 20 players from each zone are chosen to form teams from each of the province s eight zones. We then hold a tournament each season for each division where the zone teams compete against each other. The Midget Tournament is being held on March 31 st April 3rd, 2016, the Female Tournament is April 7 th -10 th, 2016 and the Bantam Tournament is set for April 14 th -17 th, 2016, all of which will be held at Cooperators Centre in Regina. These tournaments are extremely popular. Not only do families and friends of players attend, but also hockey fans from across the province and league scouts come in for a weekend of intense hockey competition. This is an amazing opportunity for you to get your business name out to these attendees as well as the players by becoming an advertiser in the 8 ½ inch high x 5 ½ inch wide programs that are sold at these tournaments. We do print three separate programs. 4 SHA HANDBOOK Each July, the Saskatchewan Hockey Association prints approximately 8,000 SHA Handbooks which are distributed to every minor hockey association in the province. This handbook contains important dates for the year, the SHA constitution, bylaws, regulations, and more, and is referred to by associations and teams throughout the year. The handbook is great way to get your name province wide and associated with the Saskatchewan Hockey Association. There are three different options for advertising within the SHA Handbook: 1) Publication Sponsor - $1,500: You would receive their logo on the front cover of the SHA Handbook, in the lower right hand corner and a full page (3.625 x ) colour ad on the back cover of the Handbook. (OPEN TO ONE SPONSOR ONLY) 2) Colour Advertiser - $500: You would receive a full page colour ad on the inside front cover or inside back cover of the Handbook. (OPEN TO 2 SPONSORS ONLY) 3) Black and White Advertiser - $400: You would receive a full page black and white ad on the first or last page of the SHA Handbook. 5 SASKATCHEWAN DEVELOPMENT MODEL PARENT S MANUAL The Saskatchewan Player Development Model Parent s Manual is a collaboration of the Saskatchewan Hockey Association, the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and the Western Hockey League. It is designed to provide reliable information to the parents of our province s players and hopefully answer the most pressing questions they have as their children progress through the hockey development system. It details the different programs available in our province, including scholarship programs, information on each partner s role in the Development Model, and details about Officiating Development in Saskatchewan. We print approximately 6,500 Parent s Manuals each year and they are distributed with our annual mailouts to the players. We also keep extra copies on hand for distribution at some of our camps and for any other parent who would like a copy in our province, and we give copies to our partners in the WHL, SJHL, and SMAAAHL for their distribution. For this manual, there are 2 different sponsorship opportunities available: 1) Publication Sponsor - $1,000: You would receive their logo on the front cover of the Parent s Manual, in the lower middle and a full page (5 x 8 ) colour ad on the back cover of the Manual. (OPEN TO ONE SPONSOR ONLY) 2) Colour Advertiser - $400: You would receive a full page (5 x 8 ) colour ad on the inside front cover or inside back cover of the Manual.
