PSMHA MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of PSMHA is to promote, govern and enhance hockey for the good of the players; to foster a community spirit among members, supporters and teams; to increase the interest in the game of hockey within PSMHA; and to promote team participation, sportsmanship and equal opportunity to all registered participants relative to the game of ice hockey in the PSMHA. 3 ABOUT PRAIRIE STORM MINOR HOCKEY (PSMHA) PSMHA is the governing body for minor hockey in the amalgamated area which includes the principle communities of Balgonie, Pilot Butte, White City/Emerald Park and surrounding areas that are located within the R.M of Edenwold. PSMHA has a membership of 400 families and 500 athletes which makes up our 32 teams spread across six age divisions; Midget, Bantam, Pee Wee, Atom, Novice and Initiation. One of the major initiatives of PSMHA for the season is to seek strategic partnerships and sponsors to help off-set the costs associated with promoting the game of hockey within our communities and ultimately keep registration fees affordable and accessible to our young athletes and families. WHY SPONSOR PRAIRIE STORM MINOR HOCKEY? 32 teams, 480+ players and immediate family members, all from our principle communities and R.M. of Edenwold, we represent a significant targeted demographic 200+ home games and hours of practices! Our three primary arenas in Balgonie, White City and Pilot Butte are filled with players, parents, siblings, grandparents and hockey fans of PSMHA, in addition to visiting associations seven days per week, offering great exposure to your business Our newly redesigned website will receive significant daily traffic and your logo and website link can be displayed on it. Since the launch of our new website, we average 2,000 visits per month and expect this number to triple during the season months. Social Media Presence. We are currently growing our presence and following on both Facebook and Twitter. Both offer excellent opportunities for added exposure. We will engage with you on Social Media We will be actively encouraging our membership to support our sponsors including in our weekly news updates and monthly newsletters which will feature sponsor logos. Our sponsors are featured likes on Facebook and frequently retweet our sponsor messages. 5 DIVISION SPONSORSHIPS Division sponsorships are the centerpiece to sponsorship with Prairie Storm Minor Hockey Association. It allows us to provide jerseys on a 3 year cycle and socks for our teams, and keep the costs of hockey down for all PSMHA families. 6 ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES PSMHA HOSTED TOURNAMENTS and EVENTS ADVERTISING For the season, PSMHA will be hosting two major tournaments bringing over 300 athletes and ther families to stay, eat and play in our communities. To be a part of the excitement and be a sponsor! When you buy advertising from our PSMHA tournaments, your ad will appear in the Tournament program. You wil receive great exposure! Other tournament advertising opportunities could include donations for raffle prizes, player awards or items for team swag bags.
