3 GOTR NOVA Impact Girls on the Run of NOVA supports girls in developing the confidence and character they need to become strong, healthy women using a unique, researchbased afterschool curriculum which creatively integrates running. Program delivered over a 10-week season by trained Volunteer Coaches who mentor and guide 3rd to 8th grade girls through experience-rich lessons that promote healthy lifestyles and positive self-image. At the end of the season, girls from across the region come together for a noncompetitive 5k event hosted specifically for GOTR NOVA families and friends.

5 Marketing Reach Website Traffic GOTR NOVA has a dedicated website ( which all program and 5k participants visit in order to complete their registration. This past year, the Girls on the Run of NOVA website had more than 32,000 unique users. Logos for all event sponsors are included on the 5k page along with a hyperlink. Logos for the Presenting Sponsor, Water Stop Sponsor, and Finish Line Sponsor are included on the GOTR NOVA homepage with links. Social Media Outreach GOTR NOVA has a combined social media following of just under 7,000 and is active on Facebook (4,340+ followers) Twitter (1,900+ followers), and Instagram (730+ followers). 5k sponsors are acknowledged across social media platforms Supporters
