3 WHO WE ARE The Divas Running Series is the largest women s-focused race series in the United States with 11 races nationally and internationally. The Divas Running Series is the most fun and glam women s half marathon and 5K series in the nation! This series is all about girl power. What began as one event in Long Island in October of 2010 has grown into 11 different locations across the country and Canada. Pink tutus, a boa and tiara station along the course, women s fit tech tees, and a bubbly toast at the finish line what more could a Diva ask for? 4 WHO WE ARE Continental Event & Sports Management Group, LLC Background Information Continental Event and Sports Management Group, LLC (CESM), creator and producer of the Divas Running Series, is the rebirth of one of the leading race production teams in the US. CESM is comprised of the same two partners, Robert and Gaby Pozo, who created and produced the ING Miami Marathon. The 2003 inaugural event surprised the running world by launching its first ever event with a Fortune 500 title sponsor and 5,000 runners and currently hosts over 18,000 runners. Robert and Gaby s love of the sport, and the race production industry, inspired them to form Continental Event and Sports Management and launch the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon and the Divas Running Series, which successfully launched in Long Island in October DIVAS Running Series SPONSORSHIP 04
