2 LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL Founded in 1939, Little League Baseball and Softball is the world s largest organized youth sports program, with millions of players and more than one million adult volunteers in every U.S. state and more than 80 other countries. During its nearly 80 years of existence, Little League has seen more than 40 million honored graduates, including political leaders, professional athletes, award-winning artists, and a variety of other influential members of society. Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical wellbeing. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Baseball and Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

3 ABOUT WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP LITTLE LEAGUE (WTLL) Each Little League program is organized within a community. Children who are league age 4-16 years old and who reside or attend school within the Washington Township Little League Boundary may play. All league personnel, including board members, coaches, grounds crew, concession, etc., are volunteers interested in providing the benefits of a Little League program to the youth of their community. LOCATION WTLL s home fields are located adjacent to Westlane Middle School, at the corner of 73rd Street/Westlane Road and Ditch Road. 4 Opening Day The WTLL season officially kicks off with a parade featuring each team, and includes a team banner competition. Fall and Winter Workouts Skills camps in the fall and winter for boys and girls ages 5-13, with professional coaches to help kids hone their skills.

5 WTLL STATS Over 300 children for little league baseball and softball in different divisions of baseball and softball Enrollment up 7% from 2017 Pee Wee baseball to Major Baseball to Junior Softball Little League Sanctioned All Star teams the participate in the district tournaments Showcase teams in multiple age groups that travel within central Indiana Estimated over 1,000 families visit the park throughout the summer

6 SPONSORSHIP All league personnel, including board members, coaches, grounds crew, concession, etc., are volunteers, so all donations directly help the players. Your sponsorship helps pay for: Umpires Equipment: bases, bats, balls, uniforms, chalk, etc Grounds equipment and upkeep Administrative fees: Website, software Capital Improvements: Replace batting cages Replace fencing Repair/replace mounds and infields Scoreboards Marquee sign replacement Concession stand equipment (freezers, grills, refrigerators, etc) Bathrooms
