1 FOURTH ANNUAL WALK-OFF FOR CANCER Together We Can Knock Cancer Out of the Park! THE EVENT Come join two-time MLB All-Star Anthony Rizzo on November 15, 2015 for the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation s Fourth Annual Walk-Off for Cancer! The Walk will take place at Pine Trails Park located at Trails End in Parkland, Florida. The event will consist of a 5K walk, entertainment and refreshments from local merchants, exciting raffle prizes and special guest appearances from local dignitaries and celebrities. Anthony will be in attendance during the entire event. This event is family friendly and is appropriate for all ages to attend. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Family Reach and families battling cancer. THE MISSION The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Chicago Cubs All-Star First Baseman and south Florida native Anthony Rizzo. Anthony realized during his own battle with cancer that no matter how difficult fighting cancer was for him, it was even more difficult for his family. Anthony believes that an individual does not battle cancer alone, but that the whole family battles it together. The Mission of the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is to raise money for cancer research and to provide support to children and families battling the disease. The Foundation is run by Anthony s family, his close friends and management team with Anthony providing oversight and leadership.
