2 Mount Waverley Cricket Club Sponsorship Prospectus Vision Our vision is to be the leading turf cricket club in the Victorian Sub District competition and the City of Monash. We wish to be the club of choice for both young developing cricketers and those that share our values of Community, Diversity, Teamwork and Respect. Profile The Mount Waverley Cricket Club is one of the oldest and largest cricket clubs in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and the leading cricket club in the Waverley area. Founded in 1906, we are a community based and family orientated cricket club which fields four senior sides playing on turf in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSDCA), 11 Junior sides, a Veterans side and a RM Hatch, Under 15 representative side as well as running a Milo in2cricket development program for boys and girls between 5 and 10 years of age. With over 250 registered players as well as family, friends and a strong past player network Mt Waverley CC interacts with nearly 350 households on a regular basis. We have a leading Social Network and Online presence amongst cricket clubs in Melbourne with an active and targeted Website, Facebook Group and Twitter account. Mt Waverley Cricket Club hosts a variety of member and community events for special interest groups and also participates and supports in charitable initiatives such as the McGrath Foundation s Pink Stump Day and the Salvation Army s Christmas Food Appeal. Values We are committed to fostering close ties with our local community and continuing to provide a Family Friendly and Socially Responsible environment for players, supporters and local community members. Through our extended Coaching and Development Program we will continue to provide an ongoing education to ALL young cricketers, creating a nurturing and responsible pathway to play senior cricket to their highest potential. Mount Waverley CC members are held to the standards of the VSDCA Laws of the Game, the Cricket Australia Spirit of Cricket and the clubs own standards of Community, Diversity, Teamwork and Respect for all.

The cost of running a community based cricket club can be prohibitive, especially when a cricket club like Mount Waverley has a focus on community engagement, player coaching and Junior Development. With the strong possibility of significantly reduced grants from Cricket Victoria for the impending season as well as a project in conjunction with the Monash Council to improve the Senior and Junior training facilities, Mount Waverley Cricket Club needs support and assistance more than ever before. Therefore sponsorship plays a vital part in the sustainability of our cricket club and providing the best possible opportunities for the participation and development of our players.
