2 TOURNAMENT DATES The NJCAA Division II World Series will be played at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark located at 301 South Grand in Enid, Oklahoma. The dates of this tournament are May 26 - June 2, Opening night is Friday, May 25, Game times: Saturday #1 10:00am, #2 1:00pm, #3 4:00pm. #4 7:15pm. Sunday #5 10:00am, #6 1:00pm, #7 4:00pm, #8 7:15pm. Monday #9 10:00am, #10 1:00pm, #11 4:00pm, #12 7:15pm. Tuesday #13 3:30pm, #14 7:00pm. Wednesday #15 3:30pm, #14 7:00pm. Thursday #17 3:30 or 7:00pm, #18 3:30 or 7:00pm. If at the end of pool play each bracket s winner has one loss, then the Championship Game is Friday at 7:00pm. TEAM ROSTER A complete team roster must be filled out via the NJCAA Baseball Roster Form (preferred format is word or excel) and sent to Lynne Benkendorf at lbenkendorf@eaglemkt.com or eaglemkt@gmail.com. Teams are limited to 30 eligible student-athletes on their roster. TOURNAMENT RULES AND OFFICIALS A. The tournament shall be conducted as a 10-team double elimination tournament. B. NCAA baseball rules shall be used in all tournament games, including district play, with the following exceptions: 1. The maximum allowable number of individuals an institution can have on the field, including the practice field, bullpen, bench and dugout is 37. Each team is limited to one head coach, four assistant coaches, recognized by their respective institution, 30 eligible student-athletes in uniform, one manager and one trainer. The official roster will be signed and turned in at the tournament coaches meeting. No deletions or additions will be allowed after the roster is turned in. 2. All games are scheduled for nine innings. 3. The 10-run rule shall be in effect after five complete innings. 4. The eight-run rule shall be in effect after seven complete innings. 5. The Championship Game (or games) shall be played the full nine innings regardless of the score. 6. Any game delayed because of rain, power failure, etc., shall be resumed at the point of suspension and played a full nine innings unless terminated under rule 3 or 4 above. 7. The following rules also apply to District and National Tournament play: a. Procedure During Change of Sides i. At the conclusion of the final out in any inning, the plate umpire immediately

3 shall commence timing the change of sides. He shall allow 90 seconds for change of sides and at the conclusion of 90 seconds shall raise one hand clearly above his head indicating that: (1.) The pitcher has completed his warm-up pitches. (2.) The fielders must return practice balls to their benches. (3.) The batter must take his position in the batter s box. RULING - Pitching - (9-2-c) -The pitcher shall not be allowed to delay the game when the bases are unoccupied; the pitcher shall deliver the ball to the batter within 20 seconds after receiving the ball. A ball shall be called by the umpire each time the pitcher violates this rule. RULING - Batting -A batter shall be declared out when he fails to take his position within 30 seconds after the umpire has called for the batsman. 8. Optional substitution provisions will not apply to Tournament play. 9. The Home Team will be determined by the flip of a coin prior to each game. 10. Tournament Umpires are instructed to keep games moving and will strictly enforce charge conference/pitcher removal rules. 11. Rules require that double ear flap helmets be worn at bat and on the bases. 12. PROTESTS: No protests will be tolerated on judgment calls. Rule interpretation protests will be decided immediately by the Tournament Director, the NJCAA Representative (if available) and the Supervisor of Officials. The game shall then proceed immediately. 13. Official Line-Up Cards, in duplicate, are to be submitted to the Umpire-In-Chief before each game. 14. In the event of unavoidable delays due to weather or other unforeseen causes, the tournament co-chairmen and the NJCAA representative reserves the right to re-schedule game times, schedule seven inning games, schedule a team(s) for two games in one day, or other arrangements as necessary. C. Spalding Flat Seam Baseball (Item # 411ONJF) is the official baseball of the NJCAA. Baseballs used in the NJCAA Baseball Tournament shall be secured through the NJCAA National Office and shipped directly to the host. D. The NJCAA Committee on Division II Baseball shall have jurisdiction over the technical aspects of the tournament and officials.

4 E. If a participating institution has a written policy against Sunday competition, the tournament schedule shall be adjusted to accommodate that institution and such adjustment shall not require its team to play sooner than when it was originally scheduled. Notice of such written policy must be filed with the NJCAA National Office prior to September 1st, each academic year. Alternate brackets can be obtained from the NJCAA National Office. F. All NJCAA baseball tournament umpires must be recommended to the tournament umpire coordinator. Recommendations must include a letter, resume' and references. The coordinator shall check the references and assign acceptable prospects to the available list. The coordinator will check specific availability prior to formal approval by the NJCAA. G. No umpire will be allowed to work more than two consecutive years at the Division II Championship. Each year a minimum of two umpires will be rotated out of the tournament. Whenever possible no umpire will be allowed to work behind the plate while the district he is from is playing. The assignment for the final two games will be at the discretion of the tournament executive committee (including the NJCAA Representative). TOURNAMENT TICKETS Tournament Passes are $ Individual game tickets will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students (K-12). The tournament pass will be good for all games - all week, also includes opening night festivities. Ticket prices at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark are as follows: Adults $10.00, Students (k-12) $5.00, military personnel are admitted free with a military ID, children 12 and under are free with a paid adult admission and SR citizens are 2 for the price of 1. PRE-TOURNAMENT ACTIVITIES The David Allen Memorial Ballpark and the local Fellowship of Christian Athletes Chapter are hosting a free breakfast for all World Series teams on Friday, May 25 at 9:00 AM. The breakfast will take place at CNB Center. RSVP to Bill Mayberry at 17bill@suddenlink.net with the number from your team that will be attending the breakfast. The David Allen Memorial Ballpark will open on Friday, May 25 for the sale of tournament passes, t- shirts and view of the facility. There will be a mandatory coaches and umpires meeting and walk thru Friday, May 25 at 4:00PM at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark. A complimentary dinner will be served to teams and their coaches at 5:00PM at CNB Center, 300 South Grand. Recommended dress for this event is uniform top with number, jeans, slacks or nice shorts will be fine. (the purpose of this is so our fans can start to identify with your players and team) Friday, May 25 at 6:30pm, please join us at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark, 301 South Grand, for Opening Ceremonies for the DII Baseball World Series kicked off.

5 Opening ceremonies include introductions, homerun derby with little leaguers (10 pitches for college player, 5 pitches for each little leaguer, all count for team total) Enid Police Department and Fire Department will play a softball game to conclude festivities. 6 PROGRAM TEAM PICTURES AND PLAYER HEADSHOTS Please submit individual and team pictures of your players. These pictures will be displayed on the video board and need to be received via to or with a minimum print resolution of 300 dpi. If possible, try to ensure these pictures are taken with a plain WHITE background. The importance of sending in pictures, rosters and statistics cannot be over emphasized. Players, fans and scouts need this information. For your district to be properly included, these must be forwarded to us as soon as possible. Deadline for printing the tournament program is Friday, May 18, Please make sure to identify and label individuals in pictures. For questions regarding individual and team pictures, please contact Lynne Benkendorf at LAUNDRY FACILITIES For those interested, team laundry can be done at "Sud's Yer Dud's" Laundromat located at 623 West Garriott Road Cost for 30 uniforms to be cleaned is $30.00 ENID INFORMATION For more information about the Enid community, including restaurants and additional hotels please visit PRACTICE FIELD AND TIMES Teams arriving in Enid prior to Friday must schedule practices with Coach Raydon Leaton, Head Baseball at Northern Oklahoma/Enid at Prior to Friday, all practices will be limited to 1 ½ hour on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Teams with a day off must schedule practices with Coach Leaton around the scheduled batting practice times. Again, 1 ½ hour will be the practice time. In the event of rain, practices will be held at the Northern Oklahoma College Campus. The Northern Oklahoma College field is located at 100 South University and the Chisholm High School field is located at 4018 West Carrier Road. Friday practice times will be posted after the teams have qualified for the tournament. All practice, with the exception of Friday, will be at the NOC Campus field.

All statistics recorded will be official and box scores will be sent to the NJCAA for upload to the PrestoSports system. Teams should not edit or alter statistics entered the PrestoSports system. 8 TOURNAMENT MEDICAL SERVICE The tournament medical staff will be able to assist all teams participating in the NJCAA Baseball World Series. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and wish you the best of luck during the tournament. Each game will have a Certified Athletic Trainer on site. David Allen Memorial Ballpark does not have a formal athletic training room therefore some modalities will not be available on site. An athletic training tent will be set up just beyond the first base dugout. Treatment modalities available on site will include electrical stimulation and ice. Arrangements can be made to receive other treatments in the Northern Oklahoma College campus athletic training room. Ice, ice bags, and ice towels will be available in each dugout for your use, however you need to travel with your own taping supplies. If your Certified Athletic Trainer is not traveling with your team, please have him/her write a letter detailing any treatments they may need me to administer.
