2 Hermiston Mother s Day Tournament Rules Baseballs: All teams must provide (2) NEW and (1) USED ball per game. Rules: 1. All Divisions a. 46 /60 NO Leadoff b. Must bat entire lineup c. Little League rules with modified pitching d. 10u: NO Drop third strike e. 11u & 12u: Drop third strike rule DOES apply. 2. Coaches can warm up pitchers to speed up the game. 3. Rulings made by Umpires will stand on the field 4. A pinch runner will be allowed for the catcher if two outs. The pinch runner must be the last offensive out. 5. Have your team ready to play at scheduled start time. 6. Remove trash from dugouts after each game. 7. Coin flip determines designated HOME team. Home team keeps the official book. 8. Little League bat rules apply. 9. Age determination date will be April 1. Mercy Rule runs after 3 full innings runs after 4 full innings Pitching Rules 1. Any player on the roster may pitch. 2. Max (3) innings per game/ Max (8) innings per tournament pitch = 1 inning 4. Pitcher can move to the catcher in the same game/catcher to pitcher. 5. Once a player is removed from pitcher, they cannot return to pitch in the same game. 6. NO Balks Ejections 1. If a player is ejected from a game for any reason, they must leave the complex for the duration of said game. They may return for the next game. 2. If a Manager/Coach is ejected from a game for any reason, they must leave the complex for the duration of said game. They may return for the next game. If they are ejected a second time, they will not be allowed back for the duration of the tournament. Warm-Up Field of Dreams & Shockman Field 1. Teams can warm up in the far fields. Batting cage located across canal. Please do not hit into fences. Time Limit 1. No new inning will start after 1 Hour 45 Min 2. No time limit for Championship Games. 3. If game is tied after time limit is reached, each team will play Kansas Extra Innings. See below. Kansas Extra Innings 1. Last player to record an offensive out will become running on second out will be awarded to defensive team. 3. After each team bats, most runs win game. 4. If after (3) Extra Innings the score is still tied, the team who scored first in the game will be awarded the win. Pool Play Tie Breaker 1. Head to Head record 2. Runs Allowed (10 runs max per game) 3. Runs Scored (10 runs max per game)

3 Hermiston Mother s Day Classic 2019 HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT Team: Division: I hereby give permission for my child to participate in the Mother s Day Classic Baseball Tournament, to be held May 11-12, 2019 in Hermiston, Oregon. I am fully award of the risks and dangers involved in such activities and that anticipated and unexpected dangers may arise during such activities. I assume all risks of injury to my person and property that may be sustained in connection with such activities and about the premises. I hereby for myself and my heirs, administrators and assigns release, discharge and hold harmless: Hermiston Little League, Hermiston School District, directors, officers, employees, coaches, officials, volunteers, agents, sponsors, advertisers, owners/leasers of premises and all other participants in the stated activities from all claims, demands, actions and courses of action of any sort for injury sustained by my person and/or property during my presence on the premises and participation in such activities due to any causes including negligence or any other fault. Hermiston Little League shall not be responsible or liable to players, members, or their contents belonging to players, members or their guests. I represent and certify that I am of lawful age and legally competent to sign this release and hold harmless agreement; that I fully understand the terms herein, and that I have signed this document as my own free act. I certify that my attendance and participation is voluntary and that I am not an employee or agent of the owners or operation of the premises or non-profit.
